==Trivia==
* Grimsley & Liepard's debut banner was originally scheduled to last until December 19, 2019. However, a glitch occurred that caused parts of the scout display to appear corrupted, which could cause issues for players. As a result, his banner was closed a week earlier than scheduled, and the scout was re-opened on December 26, 2019. <ref>[https://pokemonmasters-game.com/en-US/announcements/Scout_1110_1W_1 Announcement about Grimsley's debut scout]</ref>
** This makes Grimsley & Liepard the sync pair with the shortest gap between their initial run and first rerun, at 28 days.
** Scout points from the initial banner were carried over to the new banner. This was the only instance of scout points carrying over between banners prior to the introduction of Mix Scouts.
* The introduction to Grimsley's battle theme features a stock sound effect corresponding to {{wp|coin flipping}}, referencing his post-battle dialogue in [[Generation V]] and his dialogue on [[Alola Route 15]].
* Grimsley is one of three characters who forms more than one sync pair that is available in the general sync pair scout, the other two being {{mas|Elesa}} and {{mas|Kukui}}.
** He is the only character to form three sync pairs that are available in the general sync pair scout.

Trivia

  • Grimsley & Liepard's debut banner was originally scheduled to last until December 19, 2019. However, a glitch occurred that caused parts of the scout display to appear corrupted, which could cause issues for players. As a result, his banner was closed a week earlier than scheduled, and the scout was re-opened on December 26, 2019. [3]
    • This makes Grimsley & Liepard the sync pair with the shortest gap between their initial run and first rerun, at 28 days.
    • Scout points from the initial banner were carried over to the new banner. This was the only instance of scout points carrying over between banners prior to the introduction of Mix Scouts.
  • The introduction to Grimsley's battle theme features a stock sound effect corresponding to coin flipping, referencing his post-battle dialogue in Generation V and his dialogue on Alola Route 15.
  • Grimsley is one of three characters who forms more than one sync pair that is available in the general sync pair scout, the other two being Elesa and Kukui.
    • He is the only character to form three sync pairs that are available in the general sync pair scout.

Origin

Grimsley's design is based on his appearance in Pokémon Black, White, Black 2, and White 2. Liepard is one of Grimsley's main Pokémon in the core series games. Liepard's Dex entry comes from Pokémon Black 2 and White 2.

Grimsley uses Sharpedo in the post-National Pokédex rematch against him in Pokémon Black and White, with him Mega Evolving his Sharpedo in Pokémon Sun, Moon, Ultra Sun, and Ultra Moon. It is also the Ride Pokémon he gives to the player in Pokémon Sun, Moon, Ultra Sun, and Ultra Moon. Sharpedo's Dex entry comes from Pokémon Ultra Sun.

Grimsley's (Kimono) design is based on his appearance in Pokémon Sun, Moon, Ultra Sun, and Ultra Moon. Bisharp is Grimsley's signature Pokémon in the core series games. Bisharp's Dex entry comes from Pokémon Ultra Sun.
