Fire Fang is a Fire-type move introduced in Generation IV that deals a moderate amount of damage and may cause burn and flinching. A strange property about this move is that it will bypass Wonder Guard, even if it is on a Pokémon that does not have a weakness to Fire-type moves (e.g. a Porygon2 that used Trace on a Shedinja). This does not apply to Ice Fang and Thunder Fang, however.

Trivia
- Because Fire Fang can bypass Wonder Guard, many keep at least one Pokémon with the move on them while they are battling on the internet so they can counter hackers who put Wonder Guard on all of their Pokémon.
