Torment (Japanese: いちゃもん Falsely Accuse) is a non-damaging Template:Type2 move introduced in Generation III.
Effect
Torment prevents the target from using the same move twice in a row. If the target is using a Choice item or only knows one move, the target will be forced to use Struggle every second round. Struggle is not affected by Torment; a Pokémon under Torment can use Struggle many times in a row if that Pokémon ran out of moves to use.
Generation V
Torment now already works at the same turn and can now be reflected with Magic Coat.
