Across the multiple versions of the game, there have been several Pokémon added to the internal files of the game, whether just with an icon or with full assets (like in the case of Jynx and Feebas) that have remained unreleased for some reason. Most of them have been eventually removed in later updates, but some of them are still present in the game as of version 6.70. All of the unreleased Pokémon or shiny variants retain their internal index number even if the assets have been removed.

Available since March 01, 2024 throughout multiple events. The player has to collect Gimmighoul coins in order to recruit Gholdengo. Clearing Roaming Form icons gives 1 coin; clearing Chest Form icons gives 5 coins. Only up to 50 coins can be collected per day. A total of 4,995 coins can be collected to unlock all the rewards from this event.

Available from October 27, 2025 to February 27, 2026. The player can collect up to 1 Zygarde Cell and 1 Zygarde Core per day by clearing their icons in eligible puzzles. When 10 cells and 1 core are collected, Zygarde 10% Forme can be recruited. When 50 cells and 10 cores have been collected, Zygarde 50% can be recruited. A total of 60 cells and 10 cores are needed in order to unlock both Pokémon and all their cookies.
