Whipped cream (Japanese:ホイップ whip) is a type of gimmick in Pokémon Café ReMix. The whipped cream is the second gimmick that the player encounters in the game.

Characteristics

Description

Games Description
Café Make a combo next to a dollop of whipped cream three times to clear it, or hit it with a skill to clear it immediately!

Clearability

Whipped cream can be cleared by hitting them with Pokémon combos three times. Megaphones, Café Skills, puzzle powers, boosters, and choux pastries will clear whipped cream dollops immediately.

Movability

Whipped cream dollops can be moved around the puzzle if they are pushed by other icons. They become lighter and thus more unstable as they get smaller with each stage.

Dispensers

A piping bag

There are certain orders that have piping bags, a special kind of gimmick that serves as a whipped cream dispenser. Every time a piping bag is hit with a combo, megaphone, Café Skill, or other method, it produces a dollop of whipped cream that is placed randomly in the puzzle.

   ⇓

Once all the whipped cream dollops that are necessary to clear the order's task have been placed in the puzzle, the piping bags become inactive and they do not produce any more dollops when hit.

Notice the task asks for 16 whipped cream to be cleared, but there is only 8 dollops in the puzzle; the rest needs to be produced by hitting the piping bags
