Bubbles (Japanese:炭酸 Carbonated water) are a type of gimmick in Pokémon Café ReMix.
Characteristics
Description
|
Clearability
Bubbles can be cleared by hitting the icons covered in them with a Pokémon combo, megaphones, Café Skills, puzzle powers, boosters or Choux pastries. Pokémon links made by a Pokémon with the Bubbles Specialty gimmick will not only clear the bubble, but also move the icon inside to its next stage (e.g., a Pokémon icon will also be cleared along with the bubble).
Movability

Icons covered in Bubbles are movable with the tendency of floating to the upper part of the puzzle if no obstacles are present. They will float around the puzzle area as other icons push them around when forming combos or when setting off a megaphone or activating a Café skill. They are lighter than other similar gimmicks such as Olive oil or Gummies, bouncing farther and faster if they are pushed.
Stages
Bubbles have only one stage before being cleared.
| Stages of the Bubbles |

Container
Bubbles are container gimmicks; whenever it is present in a puzzle it will always be containing some kind of icon: a Pokémon icon, another gimmick, a megaphone or a Café skill icon.
Trappability
Bubbles cannot be contained by other gimmicks.
Pollutants
When Soda bottles are cleared by anything other than a Pokémon with the Soda bottle Specialty gimmick, the surrounding icons will get covered in Bubbles.
