Veggie crates (Japanese:野菜コンテナ Vegetable container) are a kind of gimmick that appears in Pokémon Café ReMix.

Characteristics

Description

Games Description
Café To get a veggie from a veggie crate, make a combo next to the veggie crate or hit it with a skill!

Movability

Veggie crates are stationary. They remain in a fixed position within the puzzle area.

Stages

Veggie crates have 1 stage that alternates between 3 states each time they are hit. They always start with Onion, then it changes to Carrot, then it changes to Potato and then it goes back again to Onion.

Dispensers

Veggie crates act as dispensers. Every time each individual crate is hit, a corresponding vegetable will be produced which will reduce the count of required vegetables to complete the order's task by 1. Pokémon with the Veggie crates Specialty gimmick activated will produce more than 1 vegetable each time they hit a Veggie crate.

Clearability

Veggie crates can be hit by Pokémon combos or by using Megaphones, Café Skills, Puzzle powers, Boosters, and Choux pastries. However, they cannot be cleared from the puzzle. When Veggie crates gimmicks are present in an Order, there will be an Order Task that determines the amount of vegetables needed. The kind of vegetable (Onion, Carrot or Potato) does not matter as they all go towards the same count. Once the number of vegetables is reached, the crates will remain in place and they will still produce vegetables when hit, even if they don't add any value. Because of this, Veggie crates may act as an obstacle in the puzzle depending on the order.

Trappability

Veggie crates may appear in a puzzle inside a stationary container gimmick: Ice cubes, Coffee ice cubes or Jelly. They will not appear inside movable containers such as Olive oil, Bubbles or Gummies.
