Ice cubes (Japanese:氷 Ice) are a type of gimmick in Pokémon Café ReMix.
Characteristics
Description
|
Clearability
Ice cubes can be cleared by hitting the icons covered in ice once with a Pokémon combo, megaphones, Café Skills, puzzle powers, boosters or Choux pastries. Pokémon links made by a Pokémon with the Ice cubes Specialty gimmick will not only clear the ice, but also move the icon inside to its next stage (e.g., a Pokémon icon will also be cleared along with the ice).
Movability
Icons covered in Ice cubes are not movable. They will remain in one place throughout the duration of the puzzle or until they are cleared.

Stages
Ice cubes have only one stage.

Container
Ice cubes are container gimmicks; whenever they are present in a puzzle they will always be containing some kind of icon: a Pokémon icon, another gimmick, a megaphone or a Café skill icon.
Trappability
Ice cubes cannot be contained by other gimmicks.
Generators
Parchment paper and Dutch oven gimmicks can produce megaphones or Café skill icons that will be contained either in Ice cube or Olive oil gimmicks.
