Stages
Jelly gimmicks have two stages. They do not multiply.
| Stages of the Jelly |

Reversibility
Jelly gimmicks need to be hit during two moves in a row in order to be cleared. Otherwise, all the Jelly gimmicks in the puzzle that are in their second stage and that were not hit, will revert back to their initial stage at the end of the move.

Clearability
Jelly gimmicks will be advanced to their next stage by hitting them with most Pokémon combos; they will be cleared after being hit twice in a row. Megaphones, Café skills, Puzzle powers, Boosters, Choux pastry or combos made by Pokémon with the Jelly Specialty gimmick will clear them immediately.
Movability
Jelly gimmicks are stationary. They will remain in a fixed position throughout the duration of the order or until they are cleared.

Containers
Jelly gimmicks act as a container. Whenever they are present in a puzzle they will always be containing some kind of icon: a Pokémon icon, another gimmick or a megaphone.
Trappability
Jelly gimmicks cannot be contained by other gimmicks.
