Turnip
Turnips (Japanese:カブ Turnip) are a kind of gimmick that appears in Pokémon Café ReMix.

Stages
Turnips have four stages. They do not multiply nor revert back to previous stages.

Clearability
Turnips will be advanced to their next stage by hitting them with most Pokémon combos; they will be cleared after being hit four times. Megaphones, Café skills, Puzzle powers, Boosters, Choux pastry or combos made by Pokémon with the Turnips Specialty gimmick will clear them immediately.

Movability
Turnips behave differently depending on their stage:
- The first three stages are stationary. Turnips will remain in a fixed position in the puzzle throughout the duration of the order or until they are brought to their final stage.
- The final stage is movable. Freed Turnips will be moved around the puzzle, pushed by other icons, as the player links Pokémon icons or when setting off megaphones or Café Skills.

Trappability
Turnips cannot be contained by other gimmicks in their first three stages. However, Turnips in their final stage can be contained by other gimmicks due to pollution: Olive oil, Bubbles and Mayo.

Trivia
- Turnips were the first gimmick to be introduced after the 2021 overhaul. Because of this, they are the only gimmick outside of the event-exclusive gimmicks, that does not appear in Extra Orders.
