Stages

Marshmallow jars only have one stage before being cleared. After a Marshmallow jar is cleared, a single Marshmallow can be seen briefly as the jar gets emptied.

States
Marshmallow jars have two states: open and closed. At the beginning of the order, the Marshmallow jars may start in either of the states and they will alternate between the two states every passing turn. However, if they are trapped inside another gimmick, their state will not alternate until they are freed. Normally, Marshmallow jars can only be cleared when they are open. Only a link of Pokémon that have the Marshmallow jars Specialty gimmick activated can clear a closed Marshmallow jar.

Trappability
Marshmallow jars can be contained by other gimmicks: Olive oil, Bubbles, Ice cubes, Coffee ice cubes, Mayo, Gummies, Jelly, Chewy gummies and Rock salt.
