Olives have two stages before being cleared.

Clearability
Olives will be advanced to their next stage by Pokémon combos. Megaphones, Café Skills, Boosters, Puzzle powers and Choux pastries, or links made by a Pokémon with the Olives Specialty gimmick will clear them immediately.
Movability
Olives are movable. They will float around the puzzle area as other icons push them around when forming combos or when setting off a megaphone or activating a Café skill.
Trappability
Olives can be contained inside other gimmicks: Olive oil, Bubbles, Ice cubes, Mayo, Gummies, Coffee ice cubes, Jelly.

Pollutants
