Stages
Mousse gimmicks have three stages. They do not multiply.

Reversibility
Mousse gimmicks need to be hit during three moves in a row in order to be cleared. Otherwise, all the Mousse gimmicks in the puzzle that are in their second or third stages and that were not hit, will revert back to their initial stage at the end of the move.

Clearability
Mousse gimmicks will be advanced to their next stage by hitting them with most Pokémon combos; they will be cleared after being hit three times in a row. Megaphones, Café skills, Puzzle powers, Boosters, Choux pastry or combos made by Pokémon with the Mousse Specialty gimmick will clear them immediately.
Movability
Mousse gimmicks are stationary. They will remain in a fixed position throughout the duration of the order or until they are cleared.
Trappability
Mousse can be contained by other gimmicks: Bubbles (due to Pollution) and Ice cubes.
