Stages
Chewy gummy gimmicks have two stages. They do not multiply nor revert back to previous stage.

Clearability
Chewy gummy gimmicks are immune to most Pokémon combos. Megaphones, Café skills, Boosters and combos made by Pokémon with the Chewy gummy Specialty gimmick will advance them to their next stage; they need to be hit twice to clear them. Puzzle powers will clear them immediately.
Movability
Chewy gummy gimmicks are movable. They can be moved around the puzzle by moving the icons that surround them with the tendency of falling to the bottom of the puzzle.

Containers
Chewy gummy gimmicks act as a container. Whenever they are present in a puzzle they will always be containing some kind of icon: a Pokémon icon or another gimmick.
