Caramel (Japanese:キャラメル Caramel) is a type of gimmick in Pokémon Café ReMix.

Clearability
Caramel can be cleared by hitting it with a Pokémon combo, megaphones, Café Skills, puzzle powers, boosters or Choux pastries. Pokémon links made by a Pokémon with the Caramel Specialty gimmick can clear more than one Caramel gimmick without making direct contact, if these Caramel gimmicks are next to each other.
Movability
Caramel gimmicks are movable. They will float around the puzzle area as other icons push them around when forming combos or when setting off a megaphone or activating a Café skill.
Stages
Caramel have only one stage before being cleared.

Multipliability
Caramel can multiply if the gimmick is next to a Pokémon icon. If at least one Caramel is cleared during the turn, no Caramel will multiply. Otherwise, every Caramel in the puzzle will multiply, when applicable, doubling the number of these gimmicks.
Trappability
Caramel can be contained inside other gimmicks: Olive oil, Bubbles, Ice cubes, Mayo, Gummies, Coffee ice cubes, Jelly.
