Watermelons have only one stage before being cleared.

Movability
Watermelons are movable. They can be moved around the puzzle by moving the icons that surround them with the tendency of falling to the bottom of the puzzle.

Clearability
Watermelons are immune to Pokémon combos (unless the Pokémon has Watermelons as their Specialty gimmick). Instead, they need to be cleared by using a Café skill, a megaphone, a Puzzle power, Boosters.
Trappability
Watermelons can be contained by other gimmicks: Olive oil, Coffee ice cubes, Mayo, Gummy, Ice pops and Chewy gummy.
