Five New Types

Pokémon Brown Version introduces 5 brand new type to the game: Wood, Gas, Abnormal, Wind, and Sound.

Wood Type Battle properties (Physical Type)

Wood-type moves:

• Are super effective against: Water, Grass, Ice, Poison, Flying, Steel
• Are not very effective against: Electric, Bug, Rock, Gas
• Have no effect against: Fire

Wood-type Pokémon:

• Resist: Ground, Bug
• Are weak to: Fire, Electric, Fighting, Wind
• Have immunity to: Nothing

Gas Type Battle properties (Special Type)

Gas-type moves:

• Are ultra effective (3x) against: Fire
• Are super effective against: Fighting, Flying
• Are not very effective against: Psychic, Ghost, Gas
• Have no effect against: Wind

Gas-type Pokémon:
