The Japanese Sword & Shield Era of the Pokémon Trading Card Game began shortly after the worldwide release of the Generation VIII titles Pokémon Sword and Shield in November 2019. In addition to the expansions, subsets, and self-contained products distributing new cards throughout the Era, the collection also includes many other TCG paraphernalia released as part of campaigns and events. Below is a chronological list of all the items released during the Japanese Sword & Shield Era of the Trading Card Game.
Pokémon Secret Club accessories
A website called the Pokémon Secret Club (Japanese: ポケモンひみつクラブ) was launched on July 12, 2019 to promote the release of Pokémon Sword and Shield. To register as a member, people were required to provide a serial code that could be obtained by pre-ordering a copy of one or both of the games. Participating retailers gave away serial code cards with an in-store pre-order, whereas digital pre-orders at participating sites sent the serial codes via email. As a member, people could take part in surveys, view teasers for various aspects of the games, and view information regarding new Pokémon. New content was added to the website periodically and a number of lotteries were held that gave away exclusive prizes to winning members:
- Access to an Early Trial version of Pokémon Sword and Shield, held at a location in Tokyo on September 21, 2019, in which players could challenge Nessa at Hulbury Stadium. The application period for this lottery ran from August 9 to 22, 2019 and was limited to 140 groups of up to two people (280 people maximum).
- Access to a pre-opening event at Pokémon Center Osaka DX on September 21, 2019. Attendees received an Original Clear Card. An Original Charm was also given away with purchases of at least ¥5,000. The application period for this lottery ran from August 23 to 30, 2020 and was limited to 50 groups of up to three people (150 people maximum).
- A Pokémon Sword and Shield Golden Dual Game Card Steelbook (Japanese: ザシアンとザマゼンタがデザインされたスチールブック Zacian and Zamazenta Design Steelbook), which features the game mascots Zacian and Zamazenta in their Crowned Sword and Shield forms. The same steelbook was available outside Japan in Pokémon Sword and Shield Dual Pack Steelbook Editions. The application period for this lottery ran from July 12 to 31, 2019 and was limited to 1,500 members.
- A PIICA and Clear Pass Case (Japanese: ピーカとクリアパスケース) featuring Grookey, Scorbunny, Sobble, and the Pokémon Secret Club logo. The PIICA card lights up when positioned over an IC card scanner. The application period for this lottery ran from August 9 to 30, 2019 and was limited to 1,000 members.
- A pack of 64 Pokémon Secret Club Design Sleeves (Japanese: ポケモンひみつクラブデザインのポケモンカードゲームのデッキシールド Pokémon Secret Club Design Pokémon Card Game Deck Shield) featuring Grookey, Scorbunny, Sobble, and the Pokémon Secret Club logo. The application period for this lottery ran from September 6 to 27, 2019 and was limited to 5,000 members.
- A Pokémon Secret Club Design Nintendo Switch Card Case (Japanese: Nintendo Switch専用 カードケース ポケモンひみつクラブデザイン) featuring the same design as previous physical lottery prizes. Each case can hold up to 24 Nintendo Switch game cartridges. The application period for this lottery began in early October 2019 and was open until the 27th. It was limited to 2,000 members.
- One of five B2-size posters featuring the signatures of Junichi Masuda and Shigeru Ohmori. The application period for this lottery began in early November 2019 and was open until the 14th. Only one of each poster was ultimately sent to winners.
Physical items began to be shipped to winners in early November 2019 by freight collect. Exclusive serial codes also became available when member numbers met certain thresholds. A Secret Shiny Necrozma code was revealed at 55,555 members; a Secret Shiny Krabby code was revealed at 100,000 members; and a Secret Club Casual Tee code was revealed at 150,000 members.

Pokémon Center Shibuya Opening accessories
A wide array of merchandise across three distinct themes became available to purchase from November 22, 2019 exclusively at Pokémon Center Shibuya in commemoration of its opening. Clothing, bags, and plushes were among several items to feature graffiti art by Japanese artist Number-D in reference to Shibuya's street culture. A promotional Pikachu card offered as a gift with purchase at all Pokémon Centers from this date also features graffiti art. Shirts, bags, cushions, and other decorative items were released as a collaboration between Pokémon Center Shibuya and the first official Nintendo store, which opened in Tokyo on the same day. Items available from Pokémon Center Shibuya feature Mario-themed sprites containing overworld images from early Pokémon games, while those available from the Nintendo store featured Pokémon sprites containing level images from early Mario titles. Phone cases and charms were among items released as part of the Crystal Stone series, which are decorated with Swarovski crystals. Two types of TCG accessory were also available, each coming in two designs. The Pikachu-themed items feature a silhouette of the Mouse Pokémon highlighted with black crystals, while the Poké Ball-themed items feature a raised Poké Ball mosaic consisting of red and white crystals. All four accessories are made of genuine leather, are lined with a fabric interior, and feature a golden Pikachu head charm. Each cost ¥12,000 plus tax.
Deck cases: Each deck case can hold a full 60-card deck in sleeves and is secured shut with a magnet.

The first products to contain new cards in the Sword & Shield Era were released on November 29, 2019 and comprised five 60-card decks, each focusing on a particular type. These included:

Each deck includes a selection of Pokémon relative to the focal type, among which include several Generation VIII debutants and one Pokémon from a previous Generation supporting the new Pokémon V mechanic. The decks also include a number of Trainer cards featuring items and supporting characters from Pokémon Sword and Shield and a quantity of type-specific basic Energy cards. Each set is packaged with a sheet of damage counters and Special Condition markers, a coin, a playmat, and a play guide.

A deluxe version of the V Starter Sets was available from the same day at participating Toys "R" Us stores. The V5 Starter Set Complete Battle Box (Japanese: スターターセットV5 コンプリートバトルボックス) was another deluxe version of the V Starter Sets available from the same day. This product contains all five V Starter Sets presented in a pentagonal explosion box. Each deck is held in pockets that line the interior sides of the box. A central column contains the coins from each deck as well as a randomizer function that can be used to select a deck. By placing the included spherical Poké Ball charm in the funnel at the top of the column, it will fall into one of the small pockets lining the base. Each box also comes with 2 sheets containing damage counters and status markers, as well as an exclusive 2-player playmat.

- The Zacian & Zamazenta Damage Counter Case (Japanese: ダメカンケース ザシアン・ザマゼンタ) is a small black plastic case featuring outlines of Pokémon Sword and Shield mascots Zacian and Zamazenta that can be used to store smaller TCG accessories, such as damage counters, coins, dice, or various markers.
- Packs of Pikachu Coin Dice (Japanese: コインサイコロ ピカチュウ) include two Pokémon-themed die that can be used as alternatives to coins in matches. The Pikachu and Poké Ball dice are similar to those available during the BW Era.
- Premium Acrylic Damage Counters Version 1 (Japanese: アクリルダメカン ver1), the same as those included in Premium Trainer Boxes, could be purchased separately from this date. Each pack includes 34 damage counters comprising three different damage values: twenty of the orange 10-damage counters, eight of the red 50-damage counters, and six of the yellow 100-damage counters.

Pokénchi Presents Pokémon Card Elementary School Tournament "Ze!!" merchandise
The first competition to be held during the Sword & Shield Era was the Pokémon Card Elementary School Tournament "Ze!!", promoted by the variety show Meet Up at the Pokémon House?, colloquially known as Pokénchi. Host Abareru-kun was the face of the tournament, which was held at six ÆON Malls across Japan between December 1 and 15, 2019. The tournaments were Limited format using the recently released V Starter Sets and were restricted to children in Elementary School or below. Participants in any of the regional tournaments received an Original Can Badge (Japanese: オリジナル缶バッチ) featuring Abareru-kun and the primary type symbols of the five V Starter Sets. The qualifying rounds consisted of winner stays on, with the first 16 players to reach 3 consecutive wins, or 3 wins in total, advancing to the single-elimination finals. Players advancing to the regional finals received an Original Sticker (Japanese: オリジナルステッカー) featuring the hand-drawn tournament logo. The overall winners of each regional tournament won an Original T-shirt (Japanese: オリジナルTシャツ) bearing the "Ze!!" logo and location of the event, as well as the right to participate in the tournament final. The final was held at the Pokémon Card Station at Pokémon Center Tokyo Bay on January 12, 2020 and was a single-elimination tournament using the V Starter Sets. The overall winner earned a place at the 2020 World Championships.
Each regional tournament also held two side events after the main tournament. The V Starter Set Battle was much the same as the main tournament; competitors achieving 3 wins were awarded the same sticker. Participants of the Teaching side event were awarded the same can badge. Visitors could also purchase items at pop-up stores present at each venue. Those spending at least ¥1,500 on eligible TCG products were given their choice of event-exclusive Pre-assembled Deck Cases (Japanese: 組立式デッキケース), featuring either Zacian and Zamazenta or Grookey, Scorbunny, and Sobble.

The Sword & Shield Premium Trainer Box (Japanese: プレミアムトレーナーボックス ソード＆シールド) was released alongside the dual Sword and Shield expansions on December 6, 2019. Similarly to the initial Premium Trainer Box, the box contains a selection of useful Trainer cards from both the current and previous Era, plus higher quality versions of damage counters and status markers. Each box also comes with a damage counter case, a coin, 10 Sword booster packs, and 10 Shield booster packs.

- The Zacian & Zamazenta Full-size Fabric Playmat (Japanese: フルサイズ布製プレイマット ザシアン・ザマゼンタ) contains a complete 2-player play area and is made of polyester. It utilizes the same D.A.G Inc. artwork of Zacian and Zamazenta as similar S1 merchandise and could only be purchased at Pokémon Centers.
- Customers that purchased at least 5 booster packs in any combination of Sword and Shield at participating Lawson stores were given a Lawson Limited Playmat (Japanese: ローソン限定プレイマット) while supplies lasted. This 2-player paper playmat features a smooth wood effect and outlines of the Ken Sugimori stock images of Pikachu, Grookey, Scorbunny, and Sobble.
- Participating FamilyMart stores held a similar gift with purchase campaign from the same date. Customers were given a FamilyMart Limited Playmat (Japanese: ファミリーマート限定プレイマット) with the purchase of 5 Sword or Shield booster packs in any combination for as long as stocks lasted. This 2-player paper playmat features cutouts of the same Pokémon annotated with elemental symbols and their anglicized names.

- The Fire-type Fighters Sleeves (Japanese: デッキシールド タイプファイターズ 炎 Deck Shield: Type Fighters: Fire) feature the Fire-type starter Pokémon from Generation I through to Generation VIII leaping forth. Scorbunny is at the center of the illustration. These sleeves were exclusive to Pokémon Centers and were illustrated by Ryota Murayama.
- The Water-type Fighters Sleeves (Japanese: デッキシールド タイプファイターズ 水 Deck Shield: Type Fighters: Water) feature Sobble and the seven Water-type starter Pokémon that preceded it. These sleeves have artwork by Taira Akitsu and could only be purchased at Pokémon Centers.

Pouch: Participating Pokémon Card Gym venues began to sell an exclusive Deck Case Pouch (Japanese: デッキケースポーチ), a small shoulder bag with two compartments that can securely hold a standard deck case. Each compartment cover can be secured shut with hook-and-loop fasteners. The bag itself features outlines of the Generation VIII starters.

Pokémon Card Gym Promo Card Pack 1
Pokémon Card Gyms in Japan operate much like Pokémon Leagues outside Asia, in that they provide a regular opportunity for people to meet, trade, and battle. Approved Pokémon Card Gym locations are sent paraphernalia from The Pokémon Company to host meetings, including promotional card packs to distribute amongst participants in whichever way they see fit. One pack is typically given to every participant of Gym Battle events, standard tournaments open to all ages, and to every participant of New Battle events, age-specific tournaments that require players to use a quantity of the latest cards in their deck. More packs are usually given to the top finishers in tournaments: three for those placing first, two for those placing second, and one for those placing third. Additional packs may also be given out at other events hosted by the Pokémon Card Gym location.
The first Pokémon Card Gym Promo Card Pack to be distributed during the Sword & Shield Era contained one out of a possible seven S-P Promotional cards, one of which was an exclusive Pokémon V. Each promotional card bears the Pokémon Card Gym logo. These packs were first given out upon the launch of the dual Sword and Shield expansion and continued to be distributed throughout December 2019, January 2020, and February 2020.

Zacian Original Rubber Playmat
Pokémon Centers, participating Pokémon Card Gym venues, and Pokémon Card Stations across Japan held Pokémon Card Day events on set Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays throughout December 2019, January 2020, and February 2020, starting with December 6, 2019—the official release day of the Sword and Shield expansions. Winners of rock paper scissors competitions held during these events were awarded a single-player Zacian Original Rubber Playmat (Japanese: ザシアン オリジナルラバープレイマット). The February events added another playmat featuring Zamazenta to the prize pool; winners were randomly given a Zacian or Zamazenta playmat.

Select Pokémon Centers and a temporary Pokémon Card Special Shop present at EDION AKIBA sold commemorative items for the Pokémon Card Challenge, Limited format events that used the V Starter Sets held in and around Tokyo on the weekend of December 14 and 15, 2019. Bag: The only standalone item was a Pokémon Card Game Drawstring Bag (Japanese: ドローストリングバッグ ポケモンカードゲーム), which features a pattern consisting of the five type symbols.
The event itself comprised two "missions", the first of which was a Limited format match that could be played at participating Pokémon Card Gym venues and Pokémon Centers. All competitors were given an envelope containing a Meowth V promotional card and a clue to the location of the Pokémon Card Stadium, the second mission. Those who found the location, the Sunshine City Convention Center, could participate in another Limited format match and receive a Meowth VMAX promotional card.

December 2019 accessories
Pokémon Centers, Pokémon Stores, and the Pokémon Center Online began to sell numerous TCG accessories bearing designs from past merchandise campaigns starting December 19, 2019. The Neon Color items feature colorful outlines of Pokémon such as Pikachu, Charizard, Eevee, Gengar, Mew, Lucario, Greninja, Rowlet, and Zeraora and were previously used on caps, shirts, and wallets as part of a Pokémon Center promotion in June 2018. The Berry's Forest, Ghost's Castle items come in two main varieties: Forest and Castle, each of which are vibrant pieces featuring numerous Pokémon as illustrated by Kayo Horaguchi. These illustrations were used on many items available in a Pokémon Center campaign that launched in September 2019. All TCG items were initially released exclusively at Pokémon Center Singapore on November 29, 2019.
Deck cases: Each deck case includes 2 dividers featuring variations of the artwork from the cases and each can store up to 180 cards.

Champion's League 2020 merchandise
The second Champion's League meeting of the 2019-2020 season, and the first major event of the Sword & Shield Era open to all ages, was held on December 21, 2019 at the Aichi International Exhibition Center, nicknamed the Aichi Sky Expo, Tokoname. All competitors were given their choice of Eevee or Morpeko promotional card featuring the 2020 Championship Series logo upon entry. Competitors could also earn Play Points by participating in the various events at the meeting and redeem them for prizes. These events included the main Champion's League tournament, the 4-League Battle, the 3 on 3 Battle, and the V Deck Battle. Competitors could, however, only redeem Play Points once during the meeting, a rule brought into effect towards the end of the previous season. 2 Play Points could be redeemed for a set of stickers featuring focal Tag Teams from recent sets. At 6 Play Points, competitors could redeem the stickers and their choice of 1 of 4 promotional cards: Jirachi, Volcanion, Mewtwo, or Meowth V. At 10 Play Points, competitors could select to redeem 1 of 9 prior Mirror Holofoil promotional prints of the basic Energy cards at random or opt for a Meowth VMAX promotional card, as well as their choice of previous bracket promotional card, and the stickers. At 14 Play Points, competitors could earn their choice of previous bracket promotional cards, the set of stickers, and their choice of 1 of 7 possible promotional cards: Espeon-GX, Umbreon-GX, Necrozma-GX, Leafeon-GX, Glaceon-GX, Sylveon-GX, or Pincurchin V. All bar Pincurchin V were previously available in Champion's League meetings held during the 2018-2019 season. The top bracket of 20 Play Points would earn players their choice of promotional 14 Play Point-bracket card, a random Mirror Holofoil Energy card or Meowth VMAX card, the set of stickers, and 1 each of the Jirachi, Volcanion, Mewtwo, and Meowth V promotional cards.
A pop-up store, referred to as the Sales Corner, was also present at the venue, offering the latest TCG products and other official Pokémon merchandise. Packs of 64 event-exclusive Damage Design Premium Matte Sleeves (Japanese: デッキシールドプレミアム・マット 「damage design」 Deck Shield Premium•Matte: "Damage Design") could be purchased here, as could a red chic leather-style Golden Magikarp Flip Deck Case (Japanese: フリップデッキケース 「金のコイキング」 Flip Deck Case: "Golden Koiking") complete with a golden-colored relief of Magikarp, which was limited to the Aichi meeting. The sleeves could be purchased for ¥890 and were limited to 2 per person; the deck case could be purchased for ¥3,000 and was limited to 1 per person. People participating in any event were automatically entered into a lottery to win 1 of 50 copies of the deck case. If the number present on a participant's Play Point stamp card was drawn, they could redeem a free copy of the deck case at the Gift Exchange Corner.
Junior League competitors in the main Champion's League 2020 tournament who reached the Second Stage of the qualifying round, as well as Senior, Master, and Open League competitors who placed in the top 64 following the qualification round, earned a promotional print of Pal Pad. A set of exclusive card sleeves (Japanese: オリジナルデッキシールド Original Deck Shield) were also awarded to Junior League competitors who went beyond the qualifying round (Climax Stage), as well as Senior, Master, and Open League competitors who placed in the top 32 following the qualification round. New Victory Proof trophy cards were awarded to the top 4 players in each league category at each venue.
Two more Champion's League meetings were scheduled for 2019-2020 season but were canceled in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. They were due to be held at the Kyoto Pulse Plaza, Kyoto on March 21, 2020 and at Dream Messe Miyagi, Sendai on April 29, 2020. The 2020 Japan Championships, scheduled to be held on June 27 and 28, 2020, were also canceled.

If focuses purely on Metal-type Pokémon, the highlight of which are the first non-Pokémon V versions of Warrior Pokémon Zacian and Zamazenta. The tin also includes 3 Sword booster packs and 3 Shield booster packs.

Sword & Shield Pokémon Center Limited Special Set
The premium Pokémon Center limited sets proved to be popular following their debut midway through the Sun & Moon Era, offering items with exclusively commissioned artwork and large amounts of cards. The Sword & Shield Pokémon Center Limited Special Set (Japanese: ソード&シールド ポケモンセンター限定セットスペシャル) was set to continue the trend into the Sword & Shield Era and was scheduled to become available to purchase at Pokémon Centers, Pokémon Stores, and on the Pokémon Center Online from January 1, 2020. Each set was to include 1 Sword booster box, 1 Shield booster box, and 4 additional accessories:
- A Large Capacity Card Box (Japanese: 大容量カードボックス) that can hold up to 1,400 cards. It features D.A.G Inc. illustrations of Zacian and Zamazenta as used on many other products.
- The matching HOPPE DAISHŪGO Deck Case (Japanese: デッキケース HOPPE DAISHŪGO), HOPPE DAISHŪGO Half Playmat (Japanese: ハーフプレイマット HOPPE DAISHŪGO), and set of 64 HOPPE DAISHŪGO Sleeves (Japanese: デッキシールド HOPPE DAISHŪGO Deck Shield: HOPPE DAISHŪGO) all feature the evolutionary family of Pikachu and subsequent Pokémon inspired by its design as of Generation VIII. HOPPE DAISHŪGO can be translated as Cheek Great Gathering, referencing the common trait these Pokémon have. The deck case can store 180 cards and comes with 2 card dividers.
The release of the product was later canceled upon the discovery of a quality issue. An apology was uploaded to the official Pokémon Card Game website on December 29, 2019. The HOPPE DAISHŪGO items were eventually released separately in April.

Special Pokémon Card Day events were held between January 1 and 5, 2020 in celebration of the New Year at Pokémon Centers, participating Pokémon Card Gym venues, and Pokémon Card Stations across Japan. Winners of rock paper scissors competitions held during these events were awarded a single-player Zamazenta Original Rubber Playmat (Japanese: ザマゼンタ オリジナルラバープレイマット). It was later added to the prize pool at regular Pokémon Card Day events held during February 2020; winners were randomly given a Zacian or Zamazenta playmat.

CoroCoro Ichiban! VMAX Deck Case
The April 2020 issue of CoroCoro Ichiban!, released on February 21, 2020, included a flat-pack VMAX Deck Case (Japanese: VMAX デッキケース) featuring Pokémon Sword and Shield mascots Zacian and Zamazenta, plus the Galar starter Pokémon Grookey, Scorbunny, and Sobble. A number of accessories were made available to promote the release of the Rebellion Crash expansion on March 6, 2020. Another flat-pack deck case was included in the May 2021 issue of CoroCoro Ichiban!, which was released on March 19, 2021. The Double Deck Case (Japanese: Wデッキケース) features the Wushu Pokémon Urshifu in both of its Gigantamax forms and can hold 30 cards in each of its compartments when assembled.

Pokémon Card Gym Promo Card Pack 2
The second Pokémon Card Gym Promo Card Pack was scheduled to be given away at approved locations in time with the launch of Rebellion Crash on March 6, 2020; however, with the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic in Japan, all official events were canceled starting February 29, 2020. In spite of this, it is evident that venues still received packs from The Pokémon Company ready for distribution, as their contents began appearing on auction sites following the release embargo. Events officially resumed from May 23, 2020 and packs were given out until July 2020. Each pack contained one out of a possible eight S-P Promotional cards, all of which feature the Pokémon Card Gym logo.

A pair of standard decks was made available from March 27, 2020, the first of which was the Charizard VMAX Starter Set (Japanese: スターターセットVMAX リザードン Starter Set VMAX: Lizardon). Charizard is featured as both a Pokémon V and as a Pokémon VMAX in its Gigantamax form together with other Fire and Fighting-type Pokémon. Each deck also includes a number of Trainer cards from both the Sun & Moon and Sword & Shield Eras, supporting Energy cards, and essential accessories.

- The Snorlax's Yawn Sleeves (Japanese: デッキシールド カビゴンのあくび Deck Shield: Kabigon's Yawn) feature a Scorbunny resting on a Snorlax's belly. This artwork is taken from a larger piece illustrated by Saya Tsuruta for a Pokémon Center merchandise campaign held in December 2019.
- The TAIKI-BANSEI Sleeves (Japanese: デッキシールド TAIKI-BANSEI Deck Shield: TAIKI-BANSEI) feature numerous pseudo-legendary Pokémon and their first forms. This artwork is also derived from a Pokémon Center merchandise campaign that was held in October 2019.
- The Flowers in Full Bloom Sleeves (Japanese: デッキシールド Flowers in full bloom Deck Shield: Flowers in full bloom) feature a Pikachu, flowers, and floating seeds against a striped background. This artwork was used on merchandise available in a February 2020 Pokémon Center campaign.
- The #GOGO!YELL!! Grunt Sleeves (Japanese: デッキシールド #GOGO!YELL!! したっぱ Deck Shield: #GOGO!YELL!! Underling) feature a limited-color emblem containing Team Yell Grunts. #GOGO!YELL!! was a merchandise campaign held in February 2020.

May 2, 2020 saw the beginning of Golden Week in Japan and the release of more TCG merchandise through Pokémon Centers, Pokémon Stores, and the Pokémon Center Online. Additional items were made available throughout the month.

- The Mad Party Deck Case (Japanese: デッキケース マッドパーティ) features the four Pokémon from the Explosive Walker subset that have the Mad Party attack, a variant of the popular Night March deck archetype. It was first available to purchase online from May 14, 2020 followed by a release in physical stores on May 16.
- The Snorlax's Yawn Flip Deck Case (Japanese: フリップデッキケース カビゴンのあくび Flip Deck Case: Kabigon's Yawn) features vignettes of the Saya Tsuruta illustration among which include a Scorbunny relaxing with a Snorlax. This case was available from May 30, 2020.
- The TAIKI-BANSEI Flip Deck Case (Japanese: フリップデッキケース TAIKI-BANSEI ) feature various first and final forms of pseudo-legendary Pokémon. It was released on May 30, 2020.

As a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, Pokémon Card Day events scheduled to be held throughout March and April 2020 were canceled. The prize intended for winners of rock paper scissors competitions held during this period was the Gigantamax Lapras Original Rubber Playmat (Japanese: キョダイマックスラプラス オリジナルラバープレイマット Kyodaimax Laplace Original Rubber Playmat). Events officially resumed on May 23, 2020, with participating Pokémon Card Gym venues, Pokémon Centers, and Pokémon Card Stations across Japan beginning to award the prize at any events held. Distribution continued throughout June, July, and August with the release of the Infinity Zone expansion and the beginning of the next Pokémon Card Gym cycle.

Pokémon Card Regular Service Original Design Sleeves
The Pokémon Center Online offered customers the opportunity to reserve and receive discount on booster boxes of expansions and subsets available between March and June 2020 as part of a Pokémon Card Regular Service (Japanese: ポケモンカード定期便) bundle. Applications were accepted from February 10 and ceased after February 23 for customers opting to pay at convenience stores or after March 1 for customers opting to pay via credit card. Successful applicants would receive a booster box of Rebellion Crash, Explosive Walker, and Infinity Zone upon their individual release dates, packaged in a specially-designed Pokémon Card Regular Service box. A set of 64 Original Design Sleeves (Japanese: オリジナルデザインのデッキシールド Deck Shield of Original Design) featuring Pikachu and Charizard were also shipped with the final package.

Remote Pokémon Card Battle Kit
To promote playing the TCG at home during the COVID-19 pandemic, a Remote Pokémon Card Battle Kit (Japanese: リモートポケカ対戦キット) was given away at participating Pokémon Card Gym locations from June 27, 2020 with the purchase of ¥4,500 worth of eligible TCG products. When assembled, the card structure can hold a smartphone that can be used in remote battles while using various social media platforms. The kit has two configurations and features a rainbow swirl pattern used on several other Sword & Shield Era products. A Pokémon Center Online-exclusive bundle containing the kit plus 10 packs each of Rebellion Crash, Explosive Walker, and Infinity Zone could be purchased from the same date for ¥4,950.

Also released on July 10, 2020 was the Legendary Heartbeat subset, which was intended to coincide with the theatrical release of Koko. To promote the release of the subset, a special Legendary Heartbeat Pokémon Card Gym Set (Japanese: 伝説の鼓動 ポケモンカードジムセット) became available to purchase from the Pokémon Center Online and at participating stores that held Pokémon Card Gym meetings on this date. The content of the set is similar to the Pokémon Center Limited Sets released in tandem with main expansions, coming with 2 Legendary Heartbeat booster boxes and exclusive accessories featuring Marnie. Deck Cases: These card deck cases come flat-packed and can store up to 180 cards when assembled. Each case also comes with 2 dividers that can be used to segregate cards.
- The Zarude Deck Case (Japanese: デッキケース ザルード) features a number of the Mythical Rogue Monkey Pokémon traversing through a forest.
- The Alcremie Deck Case (Japanese: デッキケース マホイップ Deck Case: Mawhip) features the Cream Pokémon Alcremie in both its regular and Gigantamaxed form on the field of Wyndon Stadium. The artwork for this deck case was created by kirisAki.

- The Skwovet & Greedent Sleeves (Japanese: デッキシールド ホシガリス＆ヨクバリス Deck Shield: Hoshigarisu & Yokubarisu) feature a Tomokazu Komiya illustration of the squirrel-like Pokémon Skwovet and Greedent feeding each other berries. These sleeves were the only ones not exclusive to Pokémon Centers in this wave of merchandise and were available to purchase at stores designated Pokémon Card Friendly Shops.
- Following on from similar sets of sleeves released alongside the Sword and Shield expansions were the Lightning-type Fighters Sleeves (Japanese: デッキシールド タイプファイターズ 雷 Deck Shield: Type Fighters: Lightning), which feature Lightning-type Pokémon Zapdos, Ampharos, Morpeko, Electabuzz, Pikachu, and Helioptile as drawn by kawayoo. The release of these type-specific sleeves also ties in with the representative types of the V Starter Decks available from the same day.
- The Psychic-type Fighters Sleeves (Japanese: デッキシールド タイプファイターズ 超 Deck Shield: Type Fighters: Psychic) feature numerous Ghost-type Pokémon represented by the Psychic type in TCG. These include Misdreavus, Phantump, Dreepy, Shuppet, Duskull, and Gastly.
- The Fighting-type Fighters Sleeves (Japanese: デッキシールド タイプファイターズ 闘 Deck Shield: Type Fighters: Fighting) feature brawling Fighting-type Pokémon Machamp, Primeape, Clobbopus, Hitmonchan, Makuhita, and Crabrawler.

Under normal circumstances, the third Pokémon Card Gym Promo Card Pack would have been given away at events upon the release of the Infinity Zone expansion on June 5, 2020; however, due to the knock-on effect caused by COVID-19 restrictions, it did not see distribution until July 10, 2020. Of the eight S-P Promotional cards available, five were reprints with new artwork and three, including the Pokémon V card, were completely new. Packs contained one random card and were given out at events until mid-September 2020.

Contents of Trainer's Bag merchandise: These products use designs from a December 2019 Pokémon Center campaign, which feature things one might find in a Trainer's bag. These consist of items that can be found in the core series titles, such as Repels, Full Restores, and various types of Poké Ball, as well as other items such as wallets and stationery, some of which have designs based on specific Pokémon. The two products with these designs were initially exclusive to the Pokémon Center Online from July 21, 2020 before they were released in physical stores on July 23.

- A merchandise campaign named HELLO PONYTA began in Japan on July 18, 2020 featuring items with vignettes illustrated by James Turner. One of these was used on the Hello Ponyta: Galarian Ponyta Sleeves (Japanese: デッキシールド HELLO PONYTA ガラルポニータ Deck Shield: HELLO PONYTA: Galarian Ponyta), which feature a Kantonian and Galarian Ponyta galloping together.

Pokémon Card Gym Promo Card Pack 4
The fourth Pokémon Card Gym Promo Card Pack of the Sword & Shield Era began to be given away at participating Pokémon Card Gym locations with the launch of the Amazing Volt Tackle expansion on September 18, 2020. Packs contained one out of a possible eight S-P Promotional cards, all of which were either new or reprints of cards from the expansion with different artwork. Each card also features the Pokémon Card Gym logo. Stock permitting, packs continued to be given away at events throughout October, November, and December 2020.

Champion's League 2021 merchandise
Large-scale events were able to resume in Japan for the start of the 2020-2021 season following the disruption caused by the COVID-19 pandemic. The first event was held in Yokohama at the Pacifico Yokohama on October 3 and 4, 2020. All competitors were given a promotional Galarian Zigzagoon and one of eight promotional basic Energy cards at random upon entry. Unlike previous recent meetings, no events other than the main tournament were held in effort to reduce contact between people, and no Play Point redemption scheme was offered. Championship Points were not awarded either, with invitations to the next World Championships offered to high-ranking players instead.
A promotional Indeedee V card was given to players reaching certain thresholds in their respective leagues. Junior League competitors achieving at least four wins, Senior League competitors achieving at least five wins, and Master League competitors placing in the top 256 after the first qualifying round on day 1 all received this card. The presence of the Championship Series 2020 logo on this card, as well as the Energy participant promos, suggests they were intended for distribution at meetings from the previous season. The top 64 players in all leagues were given a promotional print of Vitality Band.
The second event was scheduled to be held in Kyoto at the Kyoto Pulse Plaza on December 13, 2020, but was canceled due to COVID-19 infection rates rising once again in Japan. A third event was held in Aichi at the Aichi International Exhibition Center on March 28, 2021. All entrants were again given a promotional copy of Galarian Zigzagoon and one of eight promotional basic Energy cards at random. A promotional Indeedee V was once again given to players who achieved a certain number of wins in their particular leagues: Junior League competitors were required to win four matches; Senior League competitors were required to win five matches; Master League competitors were required to win seven matches; and Open League competitors were required to win five matches. A fourth event was added to the schedule for the season and was to be held in Niigata at Toki Messe on May 5, 2021; however, this event was also later canceled due to COVID concerns.
The top 64 players in all leagues were given a promotional print of Vitality Band. The top 32 in all leagues were also given a set of Champion's League exclusive card sleeves (Japanese: オリジナルデッキシールド Original Deck Shield). Victory Proof trophy cards were awarded to the top 4 players in each league at each event that went ahead.

October 2020 accessories
More specially-illustrated accessories were released towards the end of October 2020.
File: A 4-ring Pikachu Forest Collection File (Japanese: コレクションファイル ピカチュウの森 ) was among these accessories, which features the same Kouki Saitou illustration as items available alongside the Amazing Volt Tackle expansion a month prior. Each file comes with ten 9-pocket sheets that can display up to 180 cards. Additional packs of ten sheets, sold separately, could be used in the file to display a total of 360 cards. Each pack of sheets also comes with dividers featuring artwork from previously-released TCG merchandise. The file could be purchased first from the Pokémon Center Online on October 22, 2020 before they were released in physical stores a day later.

Tale of the Farfetch'd Three Leek Team merchandise: Numerous TCG accessories were released as part of the Tale of the Farfetch'd Three Leek Team Pokémon Center campaign, which feature a trio consisting of a Sirfetch'd, a Kantonian Farfetch'd, and a Galarian Farfetch'd. The campaign also saw plush toys, clothing, and other decorative items become available to purchase. A short animation was created to promote the campaign, which uses a series of illustrations by HYOGONOSUKE. The animation starts off showing the Wild Duck Pokémon all training in their own way before they are challenged by an Escavalier. The Sirfetch'd is defeated and walks off into the sunset, leaving the two Farfetch'd behind. The pair resolves to train harder before facing the Escavalier again. After a tough battle, the Escavalier is vanquished and the Galarian Farfetch'd evolves into a Sirfetch'd. All of these items were initially available online from October 22, 2020 before their release in physical Pokémon Centers and Stores on October 24.

The Bea Rubber Playmat Set (Japanese: ラバープレイマットセット サイトウ Rubber Playmat Set: Saitou) was released on October 23, 2020 and comes packaged with a number of TCG play and storage solutions, including a set of 64 sleeves, a deck case, a single-player playmat, and a card box. The illustration used on all items in the set feature Galar Gym Leader Bea and her team of four Pokémon as faced in Pokémon Sword's Stow-on-Side Gym battle. This product was sold at all Pokémon Centers across Japan, at participating stores hosting Pokémon Card Gym meetings, on the Pokémon Center Online, and from select Pokémon Stores: Emifull Masaki, Ehime; Amu Plaza Oita, Oita; and ÆON Mall Okinawa Rycom, Okinawa.

This product includes one booster pack from each of the following Sword & Shield Era expansions and subsets: Sword, Shield, VMAX Rising, Rebellion Crash, Explosive Walker, Infinity Zone, Legendary Heartbeat, and Amazing Volt Tackle. It also includes a special VMAX Promo Card Pack, which contains one of four possible Pokémon VMAX cards and a set of three Mirror Holofoil Energy cards to support it. The VMAX Promo Card Pack could not be found in any other TCG merchandise.

Pokémon Card Regular Service 2020 Special Sleeves
The Pokémon Center Online once again offered a discount Pokémon Card Regular Service bundle for the expansion and subset available between September and November 2020. The application period began on August 14 and closed after September 3 for customers opting to pay at convenience stores or after September 10 for customers opting to pay via credit card. Successful applicants received a booster box of Amazing Volt Tackle and Shiny Star V upon their official release dates, packaged in a specially-designed Pokémon Card Regular Service box. A set of 64 Special Sleeves (Japanese: 特別なデッキシールド Special Deck Shield) featuring Pikachu and Snorlax were also shipped with the final package in November.

Pokémon Center Kanazawa Open Commemoration Special Box
November 20, 2020 also saw the opening of a new Pokémon Center in Kanazawa, Ishikawa Prefecture, which was celebrated with the release of numerous items. The key visual created for the opening campaign, as well as many products sold as part of it, feature a female Pikachu wearing a kimono with a Temari motif typical of the former Kaga Province. The visual, illustrated by Fuzichoco, was used as the basis of a promotional Pikachu card given to visitors of Pokémon Centers and Pokémon Stores across the country from the same date, as well as the design of the Pokémon Center Kanazawa Open Commemoration Special Box (Japanese: スペシャルBOX ポケモンセンターカナザワオープン記念), also available from the same date at Pokémon Centers, Pokémon Stores, and the Pokémon Center Online. This box contains another version of the promotional Pikachu card and two other promo cards with artwork derived from the key visual, plus a set of 64 card sleeves and 19 booster packs (three each of Rebellion Crash, Explosive Walker, Infinity Zone, Legendary Heartbeat, and Amazing Volt Tackle; four of Shiny Star V). Playmat: A durable single-player Zacian, Zamazenta & Eternatus Rubber Playmat (Japanese: ラバープレイマット ザシアン・ザマゼンタ・ムゲンダイナ Rubber Playmat: Zacian•Zamazenta•Mugendina) was among the items released. The playmat features a full view of Eternamax Eternatus facing a transformed Zacian and Zamazenta at the Energy Plant Tower Summit. Should've known you'd mastered type matchups!", and is uttered by Hop when a player uses a super-effective move against him during certain battles. This admiration became the subject of a meme in the Japanese community.
- The I'll Prove My Strength Sleeves (Japanese: デッキシールド ぼくの強さを教えてあげますね Deck Shield: I'll Prove My Strength) feature Bede with the words "では かわいそうな あなたに ぼくの 強さを 教えてあげますね". In the English localization of Pokémon Sword and Shield, this phrase is "I suppose I should prove beyond doubt just how pathetic you are and how strong I am", and is said by Bede when faced for the first time in the Galar Mine. The artwork for these sleeves was produced by chamooi.
- The Poké Balls Are Just Full of Surprises, Don't You Think? Sleeves (Japanese: デッキシールド ボールって本当に奥が深いボルね～ Deck Shield: Balls Are Really Profound, Don't You Think?) feature an illustration by Lee HyunJung of the Ball Guy offering a Friend Ball. The sleeve name comes from a phrase the Ball Guy says in Pokémon Sword and Shield after describing a Poké Ball he gives the player.

The Venusaur VMAX Starter Set (Japanese: スターターセットVMAX フシギバナ Starter Set VMAX: Fushigibana) focuses entirely on Grass-type Pokémon, including Venusaur as a Pokémon V and a Pokémon VMAX. The deck includes a selection of Item and Supporter cards, multiples of Grass Energy cards, and comes packaged with a player's guide, a unique playmat and coin, plus a cardboard sheet containing damage counters and status markers.

Carrying case: The Gigantamax Urshifu Carrying Case (Japanese: キャリングケース キョダイマックスウーラオス Carrying Case: Kyodaimax Wulaosu) is a black plastic case that can be used to store cards, deck cases, or smaller TCG accessories. A set of eleven partitions and an index sticker sheet are included to aid organization. The front of each case features outlines of the Legendary Pokémon Urshifu in its Single Strike and Rapid Strike Styles with red and blue auras. Each case has like-colored clasps and a yellow carrying handle.

- Customers that purchased at least 5 booster packs in any combination of Single Strike Master and Rapid Strike Master at participating 7-Eleven stores were given a 7-Eleven Original Mini Deck Case (Japanese: セブン-イレブンオリジナルミニデッキケース) featuring Gigantamax Single Strike Style Urshifu. Pokémon Card Regular Service 2021 Special Sleeves
Applications for discount Pokémon Card Regular Service bundles began to be offered again through the Pokémon Center Online from December 15, 2020. This period was open until January 6, 2021 for customers opting to pay at convenience stores or until January 13, 2021 for customers opting to pay via credit card. Two different "courses" could be applied for: successful applicants for the "Expansion Pack Box Course" would receive a booster box of Single Strike Master, Rapid Strike Master, and Peerless Fighters upon their official release dates. Successful applicants for the "Expansion Pack Set Product Course" would receive a Single Strike Master & Rapid Strike Master Pokémon Center & Pokémon Store Set and a Peerless Fighters booster box upon their official release. Customers also received a set of 64 Special Sleeves (Japanese: 特別なデッキシールド Special Deck Shield) featuring Pikachu and Lapras with their final package.

This product includes two Peerless Fighters booster boxes, two sets of card sleeves, and a deck case. The box itself can also be used for storage. The box and TCG accessories feature an illustration by Zounose that depicts Galar minor division Gym Leaders Klara and Avery camping. Pokémon Card Gym Promo Card Pack 5
The fifth Sword & Shield Era Pokémon Card Gym Promo Card Pack would have been first circulated at events in time with the release of Single Strike Master and Rapid Strike Master on January 22, 2021; however, due to an increase in COVID-19 cases across Japan, all official events were once again canceled from January 12. Events did not resume until March 27, 2021 and packs were given out at venues able to do so for the remainder of the month as well as throughout April, May, and June. A number of prefectures later saw states of emergency declared, which affected venues in the majority of those areas until the end of May 2021. Each pack contained one random card from a pool of seven S-P Promotional cards, comprising new cards and reprints of cards from Single Strike Master and Rapid Strike Master with different artwork.

Participating Pokémon Card Gym venues across Japan were scheduled to hold Extra Battle Day events from January 23, 2021 following the rotation of 'B' regulation cards in the Standard format on January 22. Due to the continuing effects of the COVID-19 pandemic, these events were postponed following a January 12 update on the Pokémon Card Game Trainers Website. Extra Battle Day events were among those to resume on March 27, 2021 and people wishing to take part were required to purchase at least six booster packs from stores hosting them. All participants were given a promotional Cynthia card upon entry. The events utilized the Extra Regulation format (equivalent to the {{TCG|Expanded format)} outside Japan); winners of the overall tournament and winners of rock paper scissors competitions were given an Extra Battle Day Rubber Playmat (Japanese: エクストラバトルの日 ラバープレイマット). This single-player playmat features an illustration of numerous Generation I Pokémon by Naoki Saito, which was previously used on the Kanto Friends Mini Tins outside Japan.

Movie Original Design Paper Playmat
A TCG illustration contest held in conjunction with the Pikachu Project was held between October 15 and November 15, 2020, where entrants were invited to color in a line drawing of Koko and Dada Zarude. The 55 entries nominated by a panel of judges each received a two-player Movie Original Design Paper Playmat (Japanese: 映画オリジナルデザイン紙製プレイマット) featuring the aforementioned characters. Nominees began to receive their prizes in late March 2021.

The Silver Lance & Jet-Black Spirit Pokémon Center & Pokémon Store Set (Japanese: 白銀のランス＆漆黒のガイスト ポケモンセンター・ポケモンストアセット) was a limited item released alongside the sixth Sword & Shield Era expansion on April 23, 2021: Silver Lance and Jet-Black Spirit. Despite its namesake, the set could only be purchased from the Pokémon Center Online and not from physical Pokémon Centers or Pokémon Stores. Due to the product's traditional popularity, this precautionary measure was taken to ensure customer safety during the COVID-19 pandemic. People wishing to purchase the set could register their interest on the site between April 1 and 7, 2021. Orders were selected by lottery and those successful were notified after April 16. Each set contains a Silver Lance booster box, a Jet-Black Spirit booster box, and exclusively-designed accessories:
- A Large Capacity Card Box (Japanese: 大容量カードボックス) capable of storing up to 1,400 cards.
- A Melony Deck Case (Japanese: デッキシールド メロン Deck Case: Melon) and matching set of 64 Melony Sleeves (Japanese: デッキシールド メロン Deck Shield: Melon), each of which use an illustration featuring Circhester Gym Leader Melony and her Lapras.

- The Happiny & Chansey & Blissey Sleeves (Japanese: デッキシールド ピンプク＆ラッキー＆ハピナス Deck Shield: Pinpuku & Lucky & Happinas) depict the nurturing disposition of the evolutionary family Happiny, Chansey, and Blissey. The Happiny is tending to a Poké Doll, while the Blissey operates a Pokémon Center healing station. The jingle that plays when a player's Pokémon are healed in the games is also displayed phonetically in Japanese characters (てんてんてててーん♪). These sleeves were illustrated by Yuri Yokomizo.

Eevee Heroes Eeveelution Set
The Eevee Heroes Eeveelution Set (Japanese: イーブイヒーローズ イーブイズセット Eievui Heroes EVs Set) was a companion product to the Eevee Heroes subset and was available from May 28, 2021. It came packaged with two Eevee Heroes booster boxes, a set of card sleeves, a deck case, and an exclusive Full Art Espeon VMAX promotional card. The box and accessories feature a Mari Inoue illustration of Eevee and its eight evolutions dotted around a picturesque settlement. Due to unprecedented demand, pre-orders for the set sold out in a short space of time after going live on the Pokémon Center Online. This prompted The Pokémon Company to apologize and allocate further pre-orders through a lottery system. The Pokémon Company also responded by limiting the sales of the set to the Pokémon Center Online and participating Pokémon Card Gym stores, specifically excluding physical Pokémon Centers and Pokémon Stores.

The High-Class Decks were among two new products that launched on May 28, 2021. They are similar in many respects to other 60-card pre-constructed decks but differ by comprising entirely of Holofoil cards. One of these was the Gengar VMAX High-Class Deck (Japanese: ハイクラスデッキ ゲンガーVMAX High-Class Deck: GangarVMAX), which among its selection of Darkness-type Pokémon, includes the Shadow Pokémon Gengar as both a Pokémon V and as a Pokémon VMAX that portrays its Gigantamax form. The titular Pokémon also support the Single Strike mechanic, as do several of the cards in the deck.

Much like the third pack in 2020, the release of the sixth Pokémon Card Gym Promo Card Pack at participating venues was delayed as to provide sufficient time for players to take part in the previous season cycle. Official events resumed in the majority of prefectures on July 3, 2021. Packs included one of seven possible S-P Promotional cards, all of which feature the Pokémon Card Gym logo, and were given out throughout July and August, and up to late September 2021. A digital image of the pack on the Pokémon Card Game Trainers Website was green, but the physical packs were blue.

As with its predecessor, the core audience of this product was children and their families, which were catered for with the inclusion of three simple ready-to-play decks featuring Cinderace V, Pikachu V, and Tyranitar V. Each set also included literature in the form of battle guides and a beginner's guide, plus several useful accessories: a cardboard sheet containing damage counters, status markers, and an extra-large coin, a battle record sheet, a full-size playmat, a set of color-coded deck bands, and a damage counter case.

Yu Nagaba × Pokémon Card Game merchandise
As part of a collaboration between artist Yu Nagaba and the Pokémon Trading Card Game, a range of merchandise became available from July 22, 2021, including T-shirts and the Yu Nagaba × Pokémon Card Game Special Box (Japanese: Yu NAGABA × ポケモンカードゲーム スペシャルBOX). These items primarily feature minimalist black line drawings of Pikachu and Charizard on a white background. Three principal T-shirt designs were available and each Special Box came packaged with a deck case, a set of 64 sleeves, a single-player rubber playmat, and a multi-ring. The box could only be pre-ordered from the Pokémon Center Online and the PUBLIC TOKYO online store between June 18 and 28, 2021. Pre-orders were limited to one per person and could only be applied for once. All orders were entered into a lottery and results were sent out by email starting June 30 (for PUBLIC TOKYO customers) or starting July 9 (for Pokémon Center Online customers).
In addition to the three main T-shirt designs, customizable T-shirts were also available as part of a limited campaign. Customers could select one of seven designs, featuring either Pikachu, Charizard, the two together, or Energy symbols; one of two types of shirt; either a black-on-white or white-on-black design; and choose the position of the design on the shirt. The campaign was first held at Shibuya PARCO, Tokyo between July 22 and 25, 2021, followed by PUBLIC TOKYO stores across Japan (excluding Kichijoji) and the PUBLIC TOKYO online store between July 26 and August 9, 2021.
Other items available as part of the collaboration included silk screen prints and a sticker sheet. Two 400×559mm silk screen prints, one featuring Pikachu and one featuring Charizard, could be pre-ordered from Yu Nagaba's website and were similarly allocated by lottery. The application period was open between July 22 and 25, 2021. People could apply for a single print priced at ¥80,000 plus tax or both prints priced at ¥160,000 plus tax. All orders were subject to a ¥2,000 shipping fee. Both prints were limited to 50 copies, signed by Yu Nagaba, and unframed. A sticker sheet featuring combinations of the drawings used on merchandise was included in the August/September 2021 issue of Men's Non-no, released on July 9, 2021.
A promotional Pikachu card featuring one of Yu Nagaba's illustrations was also given away during the merchandise campaign. Customers who purchased at least ¥1,500 worth of eligible products at Pokémon Centers, Pokémon Stores, or the Pokémon Center Online were given a copy, as were customers making any Yu Nagaba × Pokémon Card Game-related purchases from PUBLIC TOKYO stores (in-store and online). People with a successful Special Box order from the Pokémon Center Online also received a copy in their shipment.

As part of a collaboration between the Pokémon Company and the Japan Post Service, a series of Pokémon-themed stamps were issued from July 7, 2021. One sheet included ten ¥63 stamps featuring TCG cards from the Sun & Moon and Sword & Shield Eras and had a production run of 1 million; another included ten ¥84 stamps featuring Pokémon in different seasons and had a production run of 2.5 million sheets. The Pokémon Stamp Box (Japanese: ポケモン切手BOX～ポケモンカードゲーム 見返り美人・月に雁セット～ Pokémon Stamp Box ~Pokémon Card Game Beauty Looking Back•Wild Geese Flying under the Full Moon Set~) became available from August 25, 2021 and included another set of commemorative stamps featuring select Sword & Shield Era TCG cards, Venusaur, Charizard, and Blastoise from the original Expansion Pack, and homages to classic Japanese artworks with a Pokémon twist. The box also included two Full Art S-P Promotional cards depicting these homages and a copy of the Family Pokémon Card Game Anytime, Anywhere set. All products could be purchased from participating post offices or the Japan Post Service website on their release dates. The Pokémon Stamp Box could be pre-ordered through the Japan Post Service website from July 26, 2021 and was also available to purchase at the 2021 Japan World Stamp Championship Exhibition, held at the Pacifico Yokohama, Yokohama between August 25 and 30, 2021.

Raihan's Indomitability Trainer Card Collection
Following the popularity of the previous Trainer Card Collections, four more were released on August 20, 2021. One of these was the Raihan's Indomitability Trainer Card Collection (Japanese: トレーナーカードコレクションキバナの不屈 Trainer Card Collection: Kibana's Indomitability), which includes a four-pocket card file featuring artwork by Hideki Ishikawa of Gym Leader Raihan and his Flygon researching Leon in his continuing pursuit to defeat him in battle. The collection also includes a collector's guide, five booster packs (one each of Silver Lance, Jet-Black Spirit, Eevee Heroes, Skyscraping Perfection, and Blue Sky Stream), and a promotional Supporter card that uses a portion of the card file artwork and features Raihan's signature.

The Bea After School Trainer Card Collection (Japanese: トレーナーカードコレクション サイトウの放課後 Trainer Card Collection: Saitou After School) was another of the four Trainer Card Collections available to purchase from August 20, 2021. The card file included in this collection features an illustration by Atsushi Furusawa that depicts Gym Leader Bea rushing by the Hammerlocke Battle Café, eyeing an ice cream promotion. The collection also includes a promotional Supporter card with the same artwork and Bea's signature, a collector's guide, and one booster pack each from Silver Lance, Jet-Black Spirit, Eevee Heroes, Skyscraping Perfection, and Blue Sky Stream.

Another of the four Trainer Card Collections available from August 20, 2021 was the Leon's Advice Trainer Card Collection (Japanese: トレーナーカードコレクション ダンデの助言 Trainer Card Collection: Dande's Advice). This collection includes a card file and promotional Supporter card featuring artwork by Naoki Saito of Champion Leon enjoying a moment with his brother Hop. The Supporter card bears Leon's signature. The collection also includes a collector's guide, a Silver Lance booster pack, a Jet-Black Spirit booster pack, an Eevee Heroes booster pack, a Skyscraping Perfection booster pack, and a Blue Sky Stream booster pack.

The Nessa's Rest Trainer Card Collection (Japanese: トレーナーカードコレクション ルリナの休息 Trainer Card Collection: Rurina's Rest) was one of four collections available from August 20, 2021. The Souichirou Gunjima illustration used on the card file and Supporter card from this collection depict Gym Leader Nessa enjoying some downtime in a location that bears resemblance to Alto Mare. Each collection also comes with a collector's guide, one booster pack each from the Silver Lance, Jet-Black Spirit, Skyscraping Perfection, and Blue Sky Stream expansions, and one booster pack from the Eevee Heroes subset.
