The Fighting type (Japanese: (とう) Fighting) is one of the eleven TCG types. It is represented by the color brown, and symbolized by a left-handed fist.

The Fighting type contains all Fighting-, Rock- and Ground-type Pokémon found in the main series video games. For example, Machamp, Gigalith, and Dugtrio are all Fighting types in the TCG.

The corresponding Basic Energy card is Basic Fighting Energy. Where the Fighting symbol appears in an attack cost, it indicates that a Fighting Energy must be attached to the Pokémon in order for the Pokémon to use that attack.
