Kazuma Koda
Kazuma Koda (Japanese: 幸田和磨 Koda Kazuma), also known as Lownine (Japanese: 浪人 Rōnin), is an artist who began working on the Pokémon series with Pokémon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon.[1][2] He is also an illustrator for the Pokémon Trading Card Game. His first card was the Japanese-exclusive Full Art Will from the Tag All Stars subset, and his first card to release in English was Lapras from Sword & Shield.
Kazuma Koda has illustrated artwork for the core series games and several different promotional campaigns. Notably, he created the design for Hatsune Miku as a Dark-type Pokémon Trainer for Project VOLTAGE.[3]
Outside Pokémon, Koda was worked on games such as Bayonetta 2, Nier: Automata and Replicant ver.1.22474487139..., and Fire Emblem: Three Houses and Engage.[2] He is also the concept artist for Game Freak's Beast of Reincarnation.[4]
