DPt TCG Era merchandise

The short-lived DPt Era of the Japanese Pokémon Trading Card Game lasted from October 2008 until July 2009. Only containing four expansions worth of products, the DPt Era merchandise is limited to decks, blister packs, and a few gift sets. Below is a chronological list of all the items released during the Japanese DPt Era of the Trading Card Game.
Entry Pack DPt
As with the DP era, the DPt era begins with the release of another Entry Pack. The Entry Pack DPt (Japanese: エントリーパック) was made available on October 10, 2008 and includes three half deck based on the Sinnoh Pokémon of Myth Dialga, Palkia, and Giratina. The half decks principally focus on two types each, with the Giratina half deck including and Pokémon, the Dialga half deck including and Pokémon, and the Palkia half deck including and Pokémon. As with previous Entry Packs, a how-to-play guide and practice play mat are included, as well as damage counters, status counters, and a coin.

Gift Box DPt
The Gift Box DPt (Japanese: ギフトボックス) was released on November 20, 2008 and is very similar in terms of content to the Entry Pack '08 DX released during the DP era. Both feature four half decks with the same central Pokémon: Turtwig, Chimchar, Piplup, and Pikachu, and both include a similar assortment of items presented in a trunk case. These items include a set of acrylic damage counters, a set of status counters, a how-to-play guide, a practice play mat, a dice, a coin, a sticker sheet, and a damage counter case. The half decks have varying levels of play strategy, allowing beginners to start with an easier deck and acclimatize themselves before using the more advanced half decks.

Infernape vs Gallade SP Deck Kit
The Infernape vs Gallade SP Deck Kit (Japanese: 対戦スターターパックSP ゴウカザルVSエルレイド) was released alongside the Bonds to the End of Time expansion on December 26, 2008. The kit includes two half decks, which collectively focus on the Sinnoh Elite Four and their Pokémon Platinum lineups. The Infernape half deck includes Flint's Fire-type Pokémon and Bertha's Fighting-type Pokémon, while the Gallade half deck Aaron's Grass-type Pokémon and Lucien's Psychic-type Pokémon. All Pokémon are Pokémon . The kit also comes with a rulebook, damage counters, status counters, and a coin.

Galactic's Conquest•Bonds to the End of Time Special Pack
Representing the first two DPt era expansions, the Galactic's Conquest•Bonds to the End of Time Special Pack (Japanese: ギンガの覇道•時の果ての絆 スペシャルパック) was made available on January 1, 2009. This pack contains two DPt-P Promotional Pokémon SP cards, one Galactic's Conquest booster pack, and two Bonds to the End of Time booster packs.

Garchomp vs Charizard SP Deck Kit
The second SP deck kit of the DPt era was the Garchomp vs Charizard SP Deck Kit (Japanese: 対戦スターターパックSP ガブリアスVSリザードン), released on March 6, 2009 alongside the Beat of the Frontier expansion. The kit focuses on Sinnoh League Champion Cynthia and her Pokémon , and Team Galactic boss Cyrus and his Pokémon , with both Garchomp and Charizard featured as Pokémon LV.X. The kit includes a rulebook, a set of damage and status counters, and a coin.

Regigigas LV.X Collection Pack
Three special 12-card packs were released on April 18, 2009 containing previously rare promotional cards. One of these was the Regigigas LV.X Collection Pack (Japanese: コレクションパック レジギガスLV.X), which features an alternate art print of Regigigas LV.X, plus 11 other cards sourced from the DP-P and PPP Promotional card collections. Six of the cards are Holofoil, including Regigigas.

Mewtwo LV.X Collection Pack
Another of the Collection Packs was the Mewtwo LV.X Collection Pack (Japanese: コレクションパック ミュウツーLV.X), which includes twelve reprinted promotional cards. Six of these are Holofoil, including an alternate art print of Mewtwo LV.X, plus the previously difficult to obtain Time-Space Distortion Trainer card.

Shaymin LV.X Collection Pack
The Shaymin LV.X Collection Pack (Japanese: コレクションパック シェイミLV.X) was the third of the three Collection Packs available to purchase from April 18, 2009. As with the others, it includes twelve reprinted promotional cards originally from the DP-P and PPP Promotional card collections, with particular focus on the alternate art print of Shaymin LV.X.

Arceus LV.X Deck: Grass & Fire
The Arceus LV.X Deck: Grass & Fire (Japanese: 構築スタンダードデッキ アルセウスLV.X 草&炎) was one of two 60-card decks released with the Advent of Arceus expansion on July 8, 2009. The deck features an assortment of , , and Pokémon, and includes three versions of the Alpha Pokémon Arceus: one in its Grass-type form, one in its Fire-type form, and a LV.V variant of its Colorless-type form, which requires a Grass and Fire Energy for its attack. The deck also comes with a rulebook, damage counters, status counters, and a coin.

Arceus LV.X Deck: Lightning & Psychic
The Arceus LV.X Deck: Lightning & Psychic (Japanese: 構築スタンダードデッキ アルセウスLV.X 雷&超) also accompanied the Advent of Arceus expansion, released on July 8, 2009. Like the other deck, three types of Pokémon are included: , , and , with the Alpha Pokémon Arceus appearing as both Lightning and Psychic-type cards. A third LV.V variant of its Colorless-type form is also included, which requires a Lightning and Psychic Energy for its attack. The deck comes with a rulebook, a coin, and a set of damage and status counters.

Melee! Pokémon Scramble × Pokémon Card Game
A special set called Melee! Pokémon Scramble × Pokémon Card Game (Japanese: 乱戦!ポケモンスクランブル×ポケモンカードゲーム) was released on July 10, 2009 and combines the play styles of Pokémon Rumble and the Pokémon Trading Card Game by featuring a play area for up to seven players. The set includes sixteen cards that depict Pokémon as they appear in Pokémon Rumble and an array of accompanying items: a battle mat, a die plate, player markers, damage counters, four Energy die, a Target dice, and a rulebook.

Pokémon Battle Tour 09 Challenge Deck
The Pokémon Battle Tour 09 Challenge Deck (Japanese: ポケモンバトルツアー09 チャレンジデッキ) is a special half deck that could only be purchased at locations hosting the Pokémon Battle Tour 09, which ran from July 11 until September 6, 2009. The half deck predominantly features Fire-type Pokémon, with many of the cards sourced from a variety of DP era expansions and DPt era decks. It also contains a promotional Heatran card, which can only be found in the deck. Unlike the majority of other half decks available, the Pokémon Battle Tour 09 Challenge Deck does not include damage counters, rulebooks, or a coin.

Movie Commemoration Special Pack 2009
The last item of DPt era merchandise could only be bought at cinemas screening Arceus and the Jewel of Life, released on July 18, 2009. The Movie Commemoration Special Pack 2009 (Japanese: 映画公開記念 スペシャルパック2009) was made available at the same time as the movie premiere and came with two Holofoil DPt-P Promotional cards, one Advent of Arceus booster pack, and two Movie Commemoration Random Packs.
