The short-lived DPt Era of the Japanese Pokémon Trading Card Game lasted from October 2008 until July 2009. Only containing four expansions worth of products, the DPt Era merchandise is limited to decks, blister packs, and a few gift sets. Below is a chronological list of all the items released during the Japanese DPt Era of the Trading Card Game.

Entry Pack DPt

As with the DP era, the DPt era begins with the release of another Entry Pack. The Entry Pack DPt (Japanese: エントリーパック) was made available on October 10, 2008 and includes three half deck based on the Sinnoh Creation trio Dialga, Palkia, and Giratina. The half decks principally focus on two types each, with the Giratina half deck including Grass and Psychic Pokémon, the Dialga half deck including Fire and Metal Pokémon, and the Palkia half deck including Water and Fighting Pokémon. As with previous Entry Packs, a how-to-play guide and practice play mat are included, as well as damage counters, status counters, and a coin.

Gift Box DPt

The Gift Box DPt (Japanese: ギフトボックス) was released on November 20, 2008 and is very similar in terms of content to the Entry Pack '08 DX released during the DP era. Both feature four half decks with the same central Pokémon: Turtwig, Chimchar, Piplup, and Pikachu, and both include a similar assortment of items presented in a trunk case. These items include a set of acrylic damage counters, a set of status counters, a how-to-play guide, a practice play mat, a dice, a coin, a sticker sheet, and a damage counter case. The half decks have varying levels of play strategy, allowing beginners to start with an easier deck and acclimatize themselves before using the more advanced half decks.
