Release information
This card was included in the Japanese Single Strike Master expansion with artwork by You Iribi. A S-P Promotional print with different artwork by Eri Yamaki was one of seven cards available in Pokémon Card Gym Promo Card Pack 5, which was intended to be distributed at Pokémon Card Gym venues throughout January, February, and March 2021; however, all official events were postponed from January 12, 2021 due to the continued effects of the COVID-19 pandemic in Japan. This print features the Pokémon Card Gym logo.

The two prints are among numerous cards to feature illustrations that form a narrative. In the Single Strike Master print, the Tepig is training with a Pignite. In the S-P Promotional print, the two have finished training. The Pignite is fast asleep while the Tepig contently looks up into the sky.
