Description This highly skilled, powerhouse Trainer prominent in Kanto is the grandson of the famous Professor Oak. Red is both his lifelong rival and his best friend.

Blue (グリーン Green) is a Pokémon Trainer in Pokémon Masters EX, based on the character of the same name in the core series. He forms a sync pair with Pidgeot, which is capable of Mega Evolving. This sync pair was first made available on September 3, 2019. The pair's potential can be upgraded to Masters EX star.png 6★ EX from November 11, 2020.

  • Blue's rival is Red, as mentioned in his character description, he also has the first partner Pokémon with a type advantage over Red's, and Red was the one who defeated him when he was Champion.
  • Blue & Pidgeot are one of four sync pairs who have had an increased recruitment chance in a seasonal scout without being a seasonal sync pair. The other three are Karen & Houndoom, Hilda & Tepig, and Brendan & Treecko.
  • Blue is the only Trainer whose six Pokémon were all introduced in the same generation as the Trainer.
  • Blue is the only Trainer to form two sync pairs while wearing the same outfit to have a distinct EX style for both pairs.
  • Sygna Suit Blue & Blastoise were the first fair-exclusive Water-type sync pair.
  • Sygna Suit Blue & Blastoise were the last support sync pair to have a sync move that has an innate power-increasing effect.
  • Sygna Suit Blue's debut banner was originally scheduled to run until September 28, 2020. Blue's design is based on his appearance in Pokémon HeartGold and SoulSilver. Pidgeot is one of the Pokémon that Blue uses in the core series games—being his lead Pokémon in many battles and his highest-level Pokémon in HeartGold and SoulSilver, with it capable of Mega Evolving in Pokémon Sun, Moon, Ultra Sun, and Ultra Moon. In addition, Blue's Pokémon Origins and Pokémon Adventures counterparts have been depicted with a Pidgeot. Pidgeot's Dex entry comes from Pokémon Ruby and Sapphire.

Arcanine is a Pokémon that Blue uses in the Kanto-based core series games if the player chooses Charmander or Squirtle as their first partner Pokémon, as well in other core series games he's appeared in. Exeggutor is a Pokémon that Blue uses in the Kanto-based core series games if the player chooses Charmander or Bulbasaur as their first partner Pokémon, as well in other core series games he's appeared in. In addition, Blue's Pokémon Origins and Pokémon Adventures counterparts have been depicted with an Exeggutor. Exeggutor's Dex entry comes from Pokémon Ultra Sun.

Blastoise is the final evolution of Squirtle, one of the first partner Pokémon of Kanto in the core series games. Blastoise is Blue's first partner Pokémon if the player chooses Charmander as their first partner Pokémon in the Kanto-based core series games. In addition, Blue's anime, Pokémon Origins, Pokémon Evolutions, and Pokémon Zensho counterparts have been depicted with Blastoise. Blastoise's Dex entry comes from Pokémon Ruby and Sapphire.
