Trivia
* Blue's rival is Red, as mentioned in his character description, he also has the first partner Pokémon with a type advantage over Red's, and Red was the one who defeated him when he was Champion.
* Blue & Pidgeot are one of four sync pairs who have had an increased recruitment chance in a seasonal scout without being a seasonal sync pair. The other three are Karen, Hilda, and Brendan.
* Blue is the only Trainer whose six Pokémon were all introduced in the same generation as the Trainer.
* Blue is the only Trainer to form two sync pairs while wearing the same outfit to have a distinct EX style for both pairs.
* Sygna Suit Blue & Blastoise were the first fair-exclusive Water sync pair.
* Sygna Suit Blue & Blastoise were the last support sync pair to have a sync move that has an innate power-increasing effect.
* Sygna Suit Blue's debut banner was originally scheduled to run until September 28, 2020. However, on September 16, 2020, it was announced that more tiles would be added to his sync grid and the duration of his scout would be extended along with this adjustment. The scout duration was extended immediately, but the additions to his sync grid did not go into effect until players updated to version 2.1.0 at the end of September.
* All versions of Blue use special voice-over lines upon entering a team that contains certain Trainers (regardless of their partner Pokémon). Those Trainers include Red, Leaf, Elaine, Chase, Professor Oak, and Raihan.
** Blue also uses special voice-over lines upon winning a battle with Red, Leaf, Elaine, Chase, or Raihan in the same team.
* Blue and Red are the first characters to be both a Champion and a Neo Champion.
* In his Champion outfit's sync pair story, Blue reveals that he caught his Zapdos while he was training in Kanto after losing to Red, in hopes of getting ahead of both Red and Leaf. Afterward, he learned that they both already owned one of the legendary birds as well.
* Sygna Suit Blue & Blastoise were the first support sync pair to receive both horizontal and vertical sync grid expansions.

Origin
Blue's design is based on his appearance in HeartGold and SoulSilver. Pidgeot is one of the Pokémon that Blue uses in the core series games—being his lead Pokémon in many battles and his highest-level Pokémon in HeartGold and SoulSilver, with it capable of Mega Evolving in . In addition, Blue's Blue and Blue counterparts have been depicted with a Pidgeot. Pidgeot's Dex entry comes from Ruby and Sapphire Versions.

Arcanine is a Pokémon that Blue uses in the Kanto-based core series games if the player chooses Charmander or Squirtle as their first partner Pokémon, as well in other core series games he's appeared in. In addition, Blue's anime and Pokémon Adventures counterparts have been depicted with an Arcanine. Arcanine's Dex entry comes from Pokémon Ultra Sun.

Exeggutor is a Pokémon that Blue uses in the Kanto-based core series games if the player chooses Charmander or Bulbasaur as their first partner Pokémon, as well in other core series games he's appeared in. In addition, Blue's Origins and Pokémon Adventures counterparts have been depicted with an Exeggutor. Exeggutor's Dex entry comes from Pokémon Ultra Sun.

Blastoise is the final evolution of Squirtle, one of the first partner Pokémon of Kanto in the core series games. Blastoise is Blue's first partner Pokémon if the player chooses Charmander as their first partner Pokémon in the Kanto-based core series games. In addition, Blue's anime, Pokémon Origins, Pokémon Evolutions, and Pokémon Zensho counterparts have been depicted with Blastoise. Blastoise's Dex entry comes from Pokémon Ruby and Sapphire.

Blue's classic design is based on his appearance in FireRed and LeafGreen. Aerodactyl is a Pokémon that Blue has used in the core series games since Black and White, with it being capable of Mega Evolving in Pokémon Sun, Moon, Ultra Sun, and Ultra Moon. Aerodactyl's Dex entry comes from Pokémon Ultra Sun.

Blue's Pokémon Adventures counterpart temporarily uses Green's Legendary birds (Adventures) during the Pokémon Adventures manga. Zapdos's Dex entry comes from Pokémon Ruby and Sapphire.

Trivia

  • Blue's rival is Red, as mentioned in his character description, he also has the first partner Pokémon with a type advantage over Red's, and Red was the one who defeated him when he was Champion.
  • Blue & Pidgeot are one of four sync pairs who have had an increased recruitment chance in a seasonal scout without being a seasonal sync pair. The other three are Karen & Houndoom, Hilda & Tepig, and Brendan & Treecko.
  • Blue is the only Trainer whose six Pokémon were all introduced in the same generation as the Trainer.
  • Blue is the only Trainer to form two sync pairs while wearing the same outfit to have a distinct EX style for both pairs.
  • Sygna Suit Blue & Blastoise were the first fair-exclusive Water-type sync pair.
  • Sygna Suit Blue & Blastoise were the last support sync pair to have a sync move that has an innate power-increasing effect.
  • Sygna Suit Blue's debut banner was originally scheduled to run until September 28, 2020. However, on September 16, 2020, it was announced that more tiles would be added to his sync grid and the duration of his scout would be extended along with this adjustment. The scout duration was extended immediately, but the additions to his sync grid did not go into effect until players updated to version 2.1.0 at the end of September.[8]
  • All versions of Blue use special voice-over lines upon entering a team that contains certain Trainers (regardless of their partner Pokémon). Those Trainers include Red, Leaf, Elaine, Chase, Professor Oak, and Raihan.
    • Blue also uses special voice-over lines upon winning a battle with Red, Leaf, Elaine, Chase, or Raihan in the same team.
  • Blue and Red are the first characters to be both a Champion and a Neo Champion.
  • In his Champion outfit's sync pair story, Blue reveals that he caught his Zapdos while he was training in Kanto after losing to Red, in hopes of getting ahead of both Red and Leaf. Afterward, he learned that they both already owned one of the legendary birds as well.
  • Sygna Suit Blue & Blastoise were the first support sync pair to receive both horizontal and vertical sync grid expansions.

Origin

Blue's design is based on his appearance in Pokémon HeartGold and SoulSilver. Pidgeot is one of the Pokémon that Blue uses in the core series games—being his lead Pokémon in many battles and his highest-level Pokémon in HeartGold and SoulSilver, with it capable of Mega Evolving in Pokémon Sun, Moon, Ultra Sun, and Ultra Moon. In addition, Blue's Pokémon Origins and Pokémon Adventures counterparts have been depicted with a Pidgeot. Pidgeot's Dex entry comes from Pokémon Ruby and Sapphire.

In addition, Blue's Pokémon Origins and Pokémon Adventures counterparts have been depicted with an Exeggutor.

Blue's classic design is based on his appearance in Pokémon FireRed and LeafGreen. Aerodactyl is a Pokémon that Blue has used in the core series games since Pokémon Black 2 and White 2, with it being capable of Mega Evolving in Pokémon Sun, Moon, Ultra Sun, and Ultra Moon. Aerodactyl's Dex entry comes from Pokémon Ultra Sun.

Blue's Pokémon Adventures counterpart temporarily uses Green's Zapdos during the Pokémon Adventures manga. Zapdos's Dex entry comes from Pokémon Ruby and Sapphire.
