Shaker & milk (Japanese:シェイカー&ミルク Shaker & milk) is a kind of gimmick that appears in Pokémon Café ReMix.

Characteristics

Description

Games Description
Café Combine a shaker and milk to clear them! Skills, megaphones, and items can't clear them.

Two-part gimmick

Shaker & milk belong to the kind of gimmicks that consist of two parts that need to be connected to remove them from the puzzle, one being the bottle of Milk and the other one being the Shaker. Whenever they are present in a order, an even number of Milk bottles and Shakers will be distributed across the puzzle.

Stages

Shaker & milk have only one stage.

Movability

Shaker & milk can be moved around the puzzle if they are pushed by other icons, with the tendency of falling to the bottom of the puzzle.

Clearability

Shaker & milk can't be cleared by Pokémon combos, Café skills or megaphones. Instead, the icons in the puzzle need to be moved in a way where a couple of Milk and Shaker is formed, as they cannot be dragged directly. Once a couple is formed, both parts of the gimmick will disappear from the puzzle. While it doesn't matter whether the Milk is dragged into the Shaker or the other way around, Pokémon with the Shaker & milk Specialty gimmick will make possible to drag the Milk bottles around but not the Shakers.

Trappability

Shaker & milk can be contained by other gimmicks: Olive oil, Bubbles, Ice cubes, Coffee ice cubes, Mayo, Gummies and Jelly. They need to be released from these gimmicks before they can be combined.
