Hawes

(Japanese: キダチ Kidachi) is Aloe's husband and is the vice-curator of the Shippou City Museum.

Kidachi appears to revere his wife, calling her both strong and gentle as a Gym Leader and a person.

In the games

He leads the player around the museum upon the player's first visit, and warns of Team Plasma's commotion before they make off with the skull of a dragon's skeleton.

In the anime

Kidachi made his anime debut in BW014. He is voiced by 川島得愛 Tokuyoshi Kawashima in Japanese. He is the vice-curator of the Shippou Museum.

He first appeared when he was being chased by a Kabuto Fossil under the powers of a Desumasu. He told Ash, Iris and Dent about it and they went to see it, to only find it was in its normal place. He told them that when him and some workers were putting some ancient ruins together as an exhibit, strange things started happening and a mysterious purple flame appeared.

He then shows the group round the museum and decides to sleep with them inside the museum to see if they see any strange occurances. Later they are awoken by a purple mist and the knight armor moving (caused by the Desumasu). Pikachu tried a Quick Attack which seems to work but the armor puts itself back together. The purple flame appearing again and uses just the helmet but is defeated by an Iron Tail. Suddenly its starts to rain and they follow the noise into another room and find the Desumasu mask with tears rolling down its eyes.

A Dragonite skeleton awakens and tries to break the glass and free the mask, but Yanappu uses Bullet Seed fainting the real Desumasu and stopping the Dragonite. Kidachi lets out the mask and its suddenly flies through the air and attatches itself to Dent's face. Dent then starts to attack the group, but is stopped by Aloe's Miruhog's Illuminate.

Desumasu's real form is shown and it was revealed that Desumasu had been taken with the exhibit without it knowing. Then when sleeping it accidently dropped its mask. Kidachi found it and put it behind glass and Desuamsu tried to get it back. In the end they released Desumasu into the world.

He is set to appear in BW015 and BW016.

Trivia

• He calls Aloe "Mama," in the way married adults will call themselves "mama" or "papa" instead of by their names.
