The Razor Fang (Japanese: するどいキバ Razor Fang) is a type of held item introduced in Generation IV. It allows Gligar to evolve into Gliscor, and also allows the holder's moves to cause Pokémon to flinch.
In the core series games
Price
Effect
Grants moves a chance of causing the target Pokémon to flinch when using one of several moves. This chance is affected by Serene Grace and the rainbow created by Fire Pledge and Water Pledge. Each strike of a multi-strike move has an independent chance of causing the target to flinch.
Held item
In battle
Generation IV
Grants moves listed below a 10% chance of causing their targets to flinch.
Generation V onward
Instead of affecting moves that have a particular flag, Razor Fang now applies to any damaging move that doesn't already have a chance to flinch.
Outside battles
