Description | A new Trainer on a new adventure with Pokémon, ready to take his important first steps toward becoming a Pokémon master. |
Scottie (Japanese: ケイ Kei) is the male player character in Pokémon Masters. His female counterpart is Bettie.
Along with his sync pair Pikachu, Scottie explores the land of Pasio to compete in the Pokémon Masters League. Scottie also forms sync pairs with other Pokémon during his adventures, including Torchic and Solgaleo, as well as various Pokémon hatched from Eggs.

Pokémon hatched from Eggs

Scottie can also form sync pairs with a number of Pokémon hatched from Eggs. He is first gifted an Egg from Professor Bellis, when she recruits Scottie in helping research the sync pair bond formed between Trainers and Eggs. The player is allowed to choose between Bulbasaur, Charmander, and Squirtle. These sync pairs are listed in the Dex and their details are shown below.

Scottie appeared in the Pokémon Masters Animated Trailer, where he joined Rosa and Brock in a journey across Pasio. In a forest, the trio came across Erika, a Beauty, and a Lass; and battled their Vileplume, Lotad, and Whimsicott, respectively. Scottie's group soon came out victorious, after which Erika joined them on their journey.

Pikachu is Scottie's only known Pokémon. Alongside Brock's Onix and Rosa's Snivy, it battled Erika's Vileplume, as well as a Beauty's Lotad and a Lass's Whimsicott. Despite the opposing Pokémon initially having the upper hand, Pikachu quickly defeated them with its Thunder attack.
