Searing Sunraze Smash (Japanese: サンシャインスマッシャー Sunshine Smasher) is a damage-dealing Steel-type Z-Move introduced in Pokémon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon. It is the exclusive Z-Move of Solgaleo and Dusk Mane Necrozma and a transformed version of their Sunsteel Strike.


Searing Sunraze Smash deals damage, ignoring the target's Ability.


Games Description
USUM After obtaining Z-Power, the user, Solgaleo, attacks the target with full force. This move can ignore the effect of the target's Ability.


Solgaleo or Dusk Mane Necrozma can use Searing Sunraze Smash if it knows Sunsteel Strike, holds a Solganium Z, and if its Trainer wears a Z-Power Ring.

791 Solgaleo Solgaleo's Trainer turns the Solganium Z in their Z-Power Ring and strikes a series of synchronized poses to build Z-Power. Solgaleo then changes into its Radiant Sun phase and opens an Ultra Wormhole, carrying its riders through it, or Solgaleo cloaks itself with orange-yellow energy, spins itself around, and slams into the opponent with full force.
