The Treasure Hunter (Japanese: トレジャーハンター Treasure Hunter), known as the Diving Treasure Hunter in Generation III, is a non-player character in Pokémon Ruby, Sapphire, and Emerald and their remakes who exchanges Shards for evolutionary stones. He lives in a small hut on Route 124, near Mossdeep City. When the player talks to him, he will trade a corresponding stone for the player's Shard based on its color. This transaction is one of the few ways to obtain evolutionary stones in the Hoenn-based Generation III games.

Quotes
Pokémon Ruby, Sapphire, and Emerald
- If talked to
- "I'm the Diving Treasure Hunter! I'm the awesome dude who makes deep-sea dives to gather treasures resting at the bottom. Tell me, have you seen any Shards of tools made in ancient times?"
- If the player has no Shards
- "You haven't got any treasures for me... If you see any Shards, like the Red Shard, you've got to trade it with me!"
- If the player has Shards
- "Oh, hey! That… That's a Shard! I'm looking for those! Oh, man, you've got to trade that with me! I'll give you something good!"
- Yes: "What do you want to trade? You'll trade your <Shard> for my <evolutionary stone>, then?"
- Yes: "It’s a done deal! Use that wisely! Do you want to trade something else?"
- No: "No? That’s a downer. Well, if you change your mind, come back."
- Yes: "What do you want to trade? You'll trade your <Shard> for my <evolutionary stone>, then?"
- If the Bag is full
- "Whoops, your Bag's full. Get rid of some items, friend!"
