A Reporter (Japanese: レポーター Reporter) is a type of Pokémon Trainer that first debuted in the Generation IV games. They are young women working as television reporters.
In Generations IV and VIII, they specialize in Flying- and Electric-type Pokémon.
Reporters are the female counterparts of Cameramen. When paired with Cameramen in Double Battles, they are called Interviewers. In Pokémon Sword and Shield, they appear exclusively as a part of this Trainer class, except in the Battle Tower.
