Discharge (Japanese: ほうでん Electrical Discharge) is a damage-dealing Electric-type move introduced in Generation IV.

Effect

Discharge damages all Pokémon on the field but the user. It also has a 30% chance of paralyzing each of them.

In Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Time and Explorers of Darkness, Discharge attacks every enemy in the room, every enemy within 2 squares in passageways and every enemy within a square in very dimly lit passageways.

  • The only Pokémon to not receive STAB from Discharge are able to learn at least 3 Electric type attacks by level.
