Description | This Galar Trainer loves nature. In battle, he's a strategist who carefully observes opponents and calls out pinpoint instructions. |
Victor (Japanese: マサル Masaru) is a Pokémon Trainer in Pokémon Masters EX, based on the character of the same name in the core series games. He forms a sync pair with Rillaboom, which is capable of Gigantamaxing. This sync pair was first made available through a limited Poké Fair scout on October 7, 2022. This pair can be raised to 6★ EX from the day it was released.
Victor also forms a sync pair with Spectrier, which is capable of Dynamaxing. This pair was first made available through a special sync pair event on August 16, 2023, and could be raised to 6★ EX from the day it was released, though this pair lacks an EX style.
Victor in his Palentine's 2024 attire forms a sync pair with Greedent. This pair can be obtained through a seasonal sync pair scout beginning on February 9, 2024. This pair can be raised to 6★ EX since it first released.

Origin
Victor's design is based on his appearance in Pokémon Sword and Shield. Rillaboom is the final evolution of Grookey, one of the first partner Pokémon of Galar in the core series games. Rillaboom's Gigantamax form can be unlocked in Pokémon Sword and Shield's The Isle of Armor expansion by eating Max Soup. In addition, Victor's Pokémon Adventures counterpart is depicted with a Rillaboom. Rillaboom's Dex entry comes from Pokémon Sword.
Spectrier is a Legendary Pokémon that can be caught at Crown Shrine during the story of Pokémon Sword and Shield's The Crown Tundra expansion, though it must be caught while fused with Calyrex. Spectrier's Dex entry comes from Pokémon Shield.
Victor is not seen owning a Greedent outside this game, though it was introduced in Generation VIII, like Victor was. Greedent's Dex entry comes from Pokémon Sword.
