A Rust Syndicate Grunt (Japanese: サビ組のしたっぱ Sabi-gumi Underling) is a Trainer class introduced in Generation IX. They are members of the Rust Syndicate, an organization in Lumiose City, and are dressed in dark clothing and purple sunglasses. Members of this Trainer class typically use Poison- or Steel-type Pokémon.

Rust Syndicate Grunt was introduced as a Supporter card in the Pokémon Trading Card Game during the English Mega Evolution Series (the Japanese MEGA Series). It was first released in the Japanese Abyss Eye expansion, with artwork by Teeziro. An ultra rare version with artwork by the same illustrator was released in the same set. This card, which can only be used if any of the player's Pokémon were Knocked Out during their opponent's last turn, allows the player to discard an Energy from 1 of their opponent's Pokémon.
