The Lumiose Safety Group (Japanese: ミアレを守る会 Association to Protect Miare) is a Trainer class introduced in Generation IX. They are depicted as adult men and women who are passionate about the safety of Lumiose City. Several members of the Lumiose Safety Group appear during Main Mission 20: "A Request from the Rust Syndicate" in Legends: Z-A, where they are seen confronting Jett amidst concerns about the role of Quasartico Inc. and the increasing numbers of wild Pokémon appearing in the city. One representative challenges the player and Corbeau to a battle. He later reappears as the requestor of Side Mission 192: "The Stealthy Shadow" and reveals his name to be Gardie.
