The Thievul trio are a trio of Thievul that roam around Wyndon. They are friends with Goh's Cinderace.
In animation
The Thievul trio first appeared in Settling the Scorbunny! when they were all Nickit. With the help of a Scorbunny, they would steal scones from a Wyndon shop, before being stopped by Ash and Goh. They later encouraged Scorbunny to go with Goh after it befriended the boy.
They briefly reappeared in a flashback in Goodbye, Friend!.
In Just a Scone's Throw From Here!, they stopped a group of Galarian Zigzagoon from stealing a lady's food and returned it to her. They were united with Scorbunny who had since evolved into Cinderace. During their reunion, the Zigzagoon returned asking them for help after they'd been attacked by a Perrserker and two Galarian Meowth. Following the Zigzagoon, they were captured by Team Rocket who were working with the Perrserker and Meowth. After being freed by Cinderace, they joined in the battle against Team Rocket and battled against the Perrserker and Meowth. During the battle, they evolved into Thievul where they were able to defeat them before sending Team Rocket blasting off.
Personality and characteristics
When they were first seen, the Thievul trio were shown to be mischievous, stealing food with the help of Scorbunny. After seeing how Scorbunny had befriended Goh, they convinced Scorbunny to leave them showing how much they cared for it.
Afterwards, they worked to help people and Pokémon in Wyndon, as seen in Just a Scone's Throw From Here! when they stopped a group of Galarian Zigzagoon from stealing a lady's bag of food. After they were rewarded with scones, they showed no bad feelings towards the Zigzagoon and shared their food with them. They are shown to be strong in battle, as seen when after evolving into Thievul, they were able to defeat a Perrserker and two Galarian Meowth.
