List of Pokémon by index number in Generation V
In each Pokémon game of Generation V, all Pokémon have an unseen index number used to identify them in the game's ROM. All of them are in their National Pokédex order. Numbers 652 to 684 were added in Pokémon Black 2 and White 2 and are not present in Pokémon Black and White.

Index numbers from 650 to 667 are used for the sprites and data of Eggs and alternate forms. Index numbers 668 and above appear to guarantee a crash and further investigation of these does not appear to have been conducted.
Eggs
Index numbers 650 and 651 store the names used for Eggs and Bad Eggs. Although these index numbers correspond to the data of Deoxys Attack Forme and Defense Forme, the game instead uses the data for ----- for them.

They have the sprites of Unown due to them being registered as alternate forms within the game data, which means that they pull from the alternate form sprite list, of which the first 27 (Index no. 0-26) belong to Unown B through Unown ?. In the PC or on their summary screen, they use a blank string as their name.

Index numbers 709 and above appear to guarantee a crash and further investigation of these does not appear to have been conducted. Putting any of these into the party will cause them to become Bad Eggs.

Index numbers 650 and 651 store the names used for Eggs and Bad Eggs. Although these index numbers correspond to the data of a Steel/Flying-type Kyogre, the game instead uses the data for ----- for them.

They have the sprites of Unown due to them being registered as alternate forms within the game data, which means that they pull from the alternate form sprite list, of which the first 27 (Index no. 0-26) belong to Unown B through Unown ?. Note that their menu sprites are offset by two from their battle sprites.
The names of 687 through 708 here are based on the names they use in battle. In the PC or on their summary screen, they use a blank string as their name.
