Sophie first appeared in Lumiose City Pursuit!. She was called over by the professor when Ash arrived with an injured Froakie and decided to take care of him right away by putting him in a pod. Sophie is known for being an expert in healing Pokémon. Later, Team Rocket arrived in disguise as scientists, claiming to know about Mega Evolution. After the lab's Garchomp went out of control due to a collar James threw at her, Sophie stayed behind in the lab with Cosette.
