Matori (Japanese: マトリ Matori), or Giovanni's Secretary (Japanese: サカキの秘書 Sakaki's secretary) is a recurring character in the Pokémon anime, making her debut appearance in Memories are Made of Bliss!.
Her name was spoken by Meowth in the original Japanese version and Chinese dub of Battling For The Love of Bug-Types!, but she was unnamed in the English dub of the episode.
History
In Memories are Made of Bliss!, Delibird arrived in Sinnoh to inform Jessie, James, and Meowth to contact Team Rocket headquarters immediately. When they did, instead of reaching Giovanni as they expected to, Matori greeted them. - She is one of the three major Team Rocket members that appeared in the Diamond & Pearl series, despite the emergence of many important figures of the organization in Pokémon HeartGold and SoulSilver that was released during the series' run. The others were Butch and Cassidy appearing in Sleight of Sand!.
- Christopher, a minor Team Rocket member, appeared in Noodles! Roamin' Off!, but chose to leave the organization.
