A Cool Couple (Japanese: エリートカップル Elite Couple) is a pair of Pokémon Trainers that first debuted in Pokémon FireRed and LeafGreen. They are generally depicted as a pair of male and female Cool Trainers.

They use complementary Pokémon of opposite genders in Double Battles.

In Generation IV the pair of opposite-gendered Ace Trainers is called a Double Team, while in Generation VI they are called an Ace Duo.
