Players that captured a Walking Wake or Iron Leaves in one of the previous events are ineligible to catch another during the December 19, 2025 to January 4, 2026 period, but the raids can be attended repeatedly for additional item rewards.

Roaring Moon and Iron Valiant the Unrivaled event banner
In anticipation of the release of Pokémon Legends: Z-A, the 91st Tera Raid Battle event was Roaring Moon with the Mightiest Mark for Pokémon Scarlet players, granting the titleRoaring Moon the Unrivaled, and Iron Valiant with the Mightiest Mark for Pokémon Violet players, granting the titleIron Valiant the Unrivaled. They appeared at 7★ black Tera Raid crystals between October 3 to 12, 2025. Players could only catch one Roaring Moon and one Iron Valiant per save file (obtaining Roaring Moon did not make the player ineligible to catch an Iron Valiant, and vice versa). Roaring Moon always has Dragon as its Tera Type and Iron Valiant always has Fairy as its Tera Type.
However, the event data for this event shared a lockout id. This prevented players from entering raids hosted online by players of the opposite version. While the opposite game's raids could still be attended through local connection, players could only catch either Roaring Moon or Iron Valiant once per save file, making them unable to catch one of each. The official Pokémon X account has acknowledged this error, and it was later fixed.[1] This was fixed when new event data was released on October 6, 2025 at approximately 10:00 UTC. In the fix each event was given a new and separate lockout ID. This made both Pokémon catchable irrespecitve of the previous lockout data (meaning it was possible to catch one of the Pokémon twice).
The 90th Tera Raid event was Challenge the Shiny Beads of Ruin. It featured a ShinyChi-Yu in 5★ Tera Raid Battles from September 1 to 14, 2025. This Pokémon is uncatchable, but if the total number of player victories against it reaches one million players before the event ended, a Shiny Chi-Yu would be distributed from September 19 to 30, 2025, and for every 100,000 victories after that up to 2 million, each player would receive a set of 40 Tera Shards (max. 10). It always has Fire as its Tera Type.
The 89th Tera Raid event was Challenge the Shiny Vessel of Ruin. It featured a ShinyTing-Lu in 5★ Tera Raid Battles from August 18 to 31, 2025. This Pokémon is uncatchable, but if the total number of player victories against it reaches one million players before the event ended, a Shiny Ting-Lu would be distributed from September 5 to 30, 2025, and for every 100,000 victories after that up to 2 million, each player would receive a set of 40 Tera Shards (max. 10). It always has Ground as its Tera Type.
The 88th Tera Raid event was Challenge the Shiny Sword of Ruin. It featured a ShinyChien-Pao in 5★ Tera Raid Battles from August 4 to 17, 2025. This Pokémon is uncatchable, but if the total number of player victories against it reaches one million players before the event ended, a Shiny Chien-Pao would be distributed from August 22 to September 30, 2025, and for every 100,000 victories after that up to 2 million, each player would receive a set of 40 Tera Shards (max. 10). It always has Ice as its Tera Type.
The 87th Tera Raid event was Challenge the Shiny Tablets of Ruin. It featured a ShinyWo-Chien in 5★ Tera Raid Battles from July 23 to August 3, 2025. This Pokémon is uncatchable, but if the total number of player victories against it reached one million before the event ended, a Shiny Wo-Chien would be distributed from August 8 to September 30, 2025, and for every 100,000 victories after that up to 2 million, each player would receive a set of 40 Tera Shards (max. 10).
