The fifth Tera Raid Battle event was Cinderace with the Mightiest Mark, granting the titleCinderace the Unrivaled (Japanese: 最強のエースバーンThe Strongest Aceburn), appeared at 7★ black Tera Raid crystals during two time periods: from December 30, 2022 to January 1, 2023, then again from January 13 to 15, 2023. Cinderace cannot normally be encountered in Paldea, and the Cinderace appearing during this event had Fighting as its TeraType. This Cinderace could only be caught once per save file, although the Tera Raid Battle could be attended repeatedly for additional item rewards. If players captured Cinderace during the December 30, 2022 to January 1, 2023 period, they were ineligible to capture a second during the January 13 to 15, 2023 period.[1]
The event additionally contained special 4★ and 5★ raids for Gengar and Gyarados, which unlike Cinderace had standard odds of appearing as Shiny.
In addition to the main Cinderace raid, and 4 randomized event raids, 2 daily raids were guaranteed to be 5★ with a fixed Tera Type. Specifically, a 5★ Gengar den with a Psychic Tera Type, and a 5★ Gyarados den with a Flying Tera Type.
The fourth Tera Raid Battle event was the Delibird Spotlight (Japanese: デリバードからのプレゼント!Present from Delibird). Delibird with random Tera Types appeared more frequently in Tera Raid Battles from December 23 to 25, 2022.[2]
Delibird found in 3★, 4★, and 5★ raids had the chance to have their Hidden Ability of Insomnia.
The third Tera Raid Battle event was the Tyranitar and Salamence Spotlight (Japanese: ピックアップ! バンギラス & ボーマンダPickup! Bangiras & Bohmander). Tyranitar and Salamence with random Tera Types appeared more frequently in 4★ and 5★ Tera Raid Battles from December 9 to 11, 2022, with Tyranitar being found in Pokémon Scarlet, and Salamence being found in Pokémon Violet respectively.[3]
In addition to 4 randomized raids, 1 daily raid was guaranteed to be 5★ with a fixed Tera type. Scarlet players have access to a 5★ Tyranitar den with a Ghost Tera Type, while Violet players have access to a 5★ Salamence den with a Steel Tera Type.
This was scheduled to occur between the two Charizard the Unrivaled 7★ raid event periods, with Charizard raids resuming starting December 16 and ending December 18, 2022.
The second Tera Raid Battle event was Charizard with the Mightiest Mark, granting the titleCharizard the Unrivaled (Japanese: 最強のリザードンThe Strongest Lizardon), appeared at 7★ black Tera Raid crystals during two time periods: from December 2 to 4, 2022, then again from December 16 to 18, 2022. Charizard cannot normally be encountered in Paldea, and the Charizard appearing during this event had Dragon as its TeraType. This Charizard could only be caught once per save file, although the Tera Raid Battle could be attended repeatedly for additional item rewards.[4][5] If players captured Charizard during the December 2 to 4 period, they were ineligible to capture a second during the December 16 to 18 period.[6][7]
The first Tera Raid Battle event was the Eevee Spotlight (Japanese: イーブイピックアップEievui Pickup). Eevee with various Tera Types appeared more frequently in Tera Raid Battles from November 25 to 27, 2022.[8][9][10]
