Battle Pass (UNITE)
Battle Passes are a feature in Pokémon UNITE that act as a way to obtain many rewards through various missions. Battle Passes typically last around 7 weeks and feature Holowear for two different Pokémon that share the same theming, as well as clothing items and customization options for the trainer's Unite Snapshot with said theming. Other common rewards include Aeos Tickets, Aeos Coins, and Item Enhancers.
To obtain rewards, the player must complete daily, weekly, or season missions to obtain points to increase their Battle Pass Level. Not all rewards can be obtained for free, as many require the player to purchase a Premium Pass, including all Holowear, clothing items, and Unite Snapshot customization options. Typically, the first Holowear in a Battle Pass is a Holowear with a green quality tag that is obtained immediately at the first Battle Pass Level, while the second Holowear has a special Battle Pass quality tag and is obtained at the final Battle Pass Level. However, since Season 12, there are also further levels past the second Holowear, which typically house only premium rewards.
Starting from Season 28, the Battle Pass is split into two separate passes, the No-Cost Pass and the Premium Pass. The No-Cost Pass contains all rewards that can be received for free, while the Premium Pass contains the rewards that must be paid for. Additionally, there also exists a Premium Pass Plus, which immediately increases the player's Battle Pass Level by 25 levels and provides a sticker of the featured Holowear as an extra reward.
Starting from Season 36, the Battle Pass was changed to only feature one Holowear, with the green quality tag Holowear being removed as a reward. In addition, there are no longer any clothing items or Aeos Coins as rewards, the latter due to the removal of Aeos Coins. Aeos Coins rewards are now replaced with License Points.
