Casseroya Lake has three watchtowers. Casseroya Watchtower No. 1 is located south of the lake, adjacent to the river that borders West Province (Area Two). Casseroya Watchtower No. 2 is located northeast of Casseroya Watchtower No. 1, closer to the border of the lake. Casseroya Watchtower No. 3 is located on a cliffside to the northeast, right by Glaseado Mountain between Casseroya Falls and Glaseado's Grasp. A Chest Form Gimmighoul can be found and battled at each watchtower.
Socarrat Trail is a subregion of Casseroya Lake that encompasses most of the northern shore of the lake. It features colorful foliage and is home to the Groundblight Shrine.

After acquiring the corresponding Treat from Snacksworth, certain Legendary Pokémon will spawn in this area as a static encounter. If defeated, they can be battled again after the game has been rebooted, provided that over one hour has passed in Nintendo Switch's internal clock since their defeat. They are coded to never be Shiny.
A colored background means that the Pokémon can be found in this location in the specified game. A white background with a colored letter means that the Pokémon cannot be found here. Probability weight indicates the likelihood that a Pokémon will spawn at a certain point in this location relative to others that can spawn there. A higher probability weight generally indicates that a Pokémon is more likely to spawn. Pokémon with the highest or lowest level requirements may not spawn in every possible location within this area. A bolded level range replaces the Pokémon's non-bolded level range after the player has completed The Way Home.

Casseroya Lake first appeared in the Scarlet & Violet arc, where Violet and Arven arrived there to search for the final Herba Mystica. After spending an entire day searching for the Titan Pokémon around the perimeter of the lake, they spent a night at Socarrat Trail before resuming their search the next day. While inspecting the lake itself, they found themselves attacked by a Dondozo, which they were saved from by Cabbie Oscar, who regularly patrols the lake to save Trainers who wind up getting in trouble there. He directed Violet and Arven to a small island inhabited by Tatsugiri, one of which kept repeating the word "Titan". When Violet interacted with it, it summoned a Dondozo, which they identified as the False Dragon Titan, and had it attack them, quickly defeating them and knocking them out, allowing the Tatsugiri to steal all of their food.
Violet and Arven started looking for the Titan from aboard Oscar's Flying Taxi, hoping that Miraidon could sense it. As they did so, they spotted a Skwovet that had stolen a box of food, which Arven recognized as one of his own, from the Tatsugiri. When Skwovet was almost swallowed by Titan Dondozo, Arven swiftly caught it to save the box, which held a lot of sentimental value to him. With Skwovet's help, Arven and Violet succeeded in driving Dondozo desperate enough for it to reveal the location of the Spicy Herba Mystica. They then defeated Dondozo before it could consume the Herba Mystica and used it to make sandwiches that restored Miraidon's ability to climb rocky surfaces. Just after Arven had fed a sandwich to his Mabosstiff, the Tatsugiri returned, revealing itself to be a Titan as well and attacking the two Trainers. Fortunately for them, the sandwich had completely healed Mabosstiff, which intimidated Tatsugiri enough to make it flee. The duo was then contacted by Nemona, who told them to urgently meet her at the Pokémon Center at North Province (Area Three), and Professor Turo, who asked Arven to take Violet to his laboratory at Poco Path. Arven, frustrated by his father's behavior towards him, wanted to follow Nemona's call, but Violet, having finally unlocked all of Miraidon's traversal abilities, chose to listen to neither request and instead decided to focus on finding all the stakes scattered around Paldea, further increasing Arven's frustration.
