North Province (Area One) appeared in the Scarlet & Violet arc as Nemona arrived there from Montenevera with Grusha's help on her way to Caph Squad's Base, where a kidnapped Scarlet was being taken. Due to a slip of the tongue, Grusha had noticed how Nemona had earlier spoken of Penny having been kidnapped, but had later instead said that Scarlet was the victim, leaving Nemona with no choice but to be honest. Grusha warned Nemona that the Pokémon League was keeping an eye on Scarlet, as she had entered Uva Academy under a fake identity while searching for the treasures of ruin, making her an unidentifiable and suspicious individual. Nemona, though, felt that Scarlet was a trustworthy person, but agreed to stop her if she indeed turned out to have ill intentions.
