Description Mr. Rose is the president of a large business conglomerate in Galar, Macro Cosmos. He is displaying his superb talents on Pasio as well. (NOTE: The text above was submitted by his secretary.)

Rose (Japanese: ローズ Rose) is a Pokémon Trainer in Pokémon Masters EX, based on the character of the same name in the core series games. He forms a sync pair with Copperajah, which is capable of Gigantamaxing. The sync pair can be obtained through a limited Poké Fair sync pair scout beginning on July 14, 2023. This pair can be upgraded to Masters EX star.png 6★ EX since it first released.

Copperajah

Raising this sync pair to 6★ EX will unlock Song Key 08011, which allows "Battle! (Rose) (Pokémon Masters EX Version)" to be played in the Jukebox.

Trivia

  • Rose's silhouette was present on the main story screen for the Villain Arc since its introduction on August 28, 2021. Despite this, Rose himself would not be added to the game until the beginning of the Galar chapter of the Villain Arc on July 14, 2023, 685 days later.
    • He is the only one of the villains featured in the Villain Arc not to be introduced in Pokémon Masters EX until his region's Villain Arc chapter.
  • During the Galar chapter of the Villain Arc, it is revealed that this Rose came to Pasio from a time where he has not yet caused the Darkest Day.
  • All versions of Rose use special voice-over lines upon entering a team that contains certain Trainers (regardless of their partner Pokémon) and victory with them. Those Trainers include Bede, Leon, and Oleana.

Origin

Rose's design is based on his appearance in Pokémon Sword and Shield. Copperajah is Rose's signature Pokémon in the core series games, where it is also capable of Gigantamaxing. Copperajah's Dex entry comes from Pokémon Shield.
