Pawmot (Japanese: パーモット Parmot) is a dual-type Electric/Fighting Pokémon introduced in Generation IX.
It evolves from Pawmo when leveled up while outside of its Poké Ball after the player walks 1000 steps using the Let's Go! feature.[1][2] It is the final form of Pawmi.
Biology
Pawmot is a stout, bipedal, rodent-like Pokémon that has a body that is almost entirely orange, with tan colorations on its forepaws, snout, and long, fluffy tail, and green on the insides of its ears. Its face has beady brown eyes, a tiny nose, and yellow electric sacs on its cheeks. It has shaggy tufts of fur on its forehead and near its ears, as well as on its neck which forms a collar. Pawmot has five fingers on its considerably large forelimbs, which stretch down to its tiny feet. The colorations on its forelimbs create a zigzag pattern. It has yellow pads on its forepaws which turn teal-blue when it uses electric attacks.
Although Pawmot's reaction speed is normally low, it is able to strike opponents with fast movements when battling. The fluffy fur on its body acts like a battery, allowing Pawmot to store as much electricity as in an electric car.
Pawmot is the only known Pokémon capable of learning the move Double Shock.
Evolution
Pawmot evolves from Pawmo and is the final form of Pawmi.
(For specifics on this Pokémon's evolution in the games, refer to Game data→Evolution data.)

Trivia
Origin
Pawmot seems to be based on a marmot, such as the alpine marmot which was reintroduced into the Pyrenees mountain range of Iberia in 1948 long after its extinction in the Pleistocene. Pawmot's ability to discharge electricity from its paws may be inspired by defibrillators. Both aspects may attribute to its ability to learn Revival Blessing.
Name origin
Pawmot may be a combination of Pawmi or Pawmo and marmot.
Parmot may be a combination of パモ Pamo (Pawmi) or パモット Pamot (Pawmo) and marmot.
