A Nurse (Japanese: ナース Nurse) is a type of Pokémon Trainer introduced in Generation V. Battling them is optional; they do not challenge the Trainer upon sight, but instead when spoken to, unless they are encountered in White Treehollow or Black Tower. Upon being defeated, the Nurse will heal the Trainer's party fully, and any time spoken to afterwards. (Unless they are battled in the Big Stadium and Small Court.) Some will give out Max Revives when defeated. They are the female counterparts of Doctors. They tend to use Pokémon with healing properties, like Audino, or Psychic-types.
