Contents

Effect

Return inflicts damage and has no secondary effect. The base power of Return is dependant on the Happiness of the user. The greater the user's Happiness, the greater the base power. The base power can be calculated using the following formula:

Base Power = Happiness / 2.5

The base power of Return varies between 0 (minimum Happiness) and 102 (maximum Happiness).

  • In the Spanish version of the games, Return is called Retroceso, which is likely due to a direct translation of the word Return. A correct translation should be Recompensa.
  • Lopunny is the only Pokémon to learn Return by leveling.
