Walkthrough:Pokémon Legends: Z-A/Part 27

Your new life

The credits have rolled but our work is not done yet. Firstly, you can pick up AZ’s Lucario from the table in your bedroom before you leave. Head down to the lobby to meet Naveen and Lida. Lida reminds you that you haven't claimed your wish for reaching Rank A, and that you should think about what you want. Urbain/Taunie then calls you over to the front desk. They have found AZ’s will, and in it he leaves Hotel Z and Floette to Team MZ. Vinnie then asks you and Urbain/Taunie to meet him at Centrico Plaza to tell him your wish beginning Main Mission 38: The Future of Lumiose City Begins.

Getting your wish

As you leave the hotel Ivor and Jacinthe meet you. They have realized that their goals of seeing strong trainers all over the city align. Talk to Jett and Vinnie outside of the newest area, Wild Zone 20. Vinnie asks Urbain/Taunie if they want to use their wish to help look for whoever they're looking for, but they turn the idea down. Pick “I want us all to battle Pokémon together!” to continue the story – they will turn down any other option you choose. Quasartico Inc. will then say that the Z-A Royale will remain open and Main Mission 38: The Future of Lumiose City will be complete. The creation of the Z-A Infinite Royale also opens Main Mission 39: The Infinite Z-A Royale.

Wild Child

Our final Wild Zone is now open, and this one is rather special. This is where you can grab all of the Z-A and Kanto first partners to catch the ones you missed out on with your previous choices. These spawn randomly however, so you might need to do a few laps before the one you want shows up. Around the outside you can also find plenty of difficult to evolve Pokémon to fill out your dex. Most exciting of all is that in the center of the Wild Zone you can find two random alphas. This includes Pokémon that are difficult to evolve, and those that are otherwise impossible to acquire without trading.

Non-fixed wild alpha Pokémon always have a 5% chance to spawn as alpha unless specified otherwise, once the player has completed Main Mission 05: "The City in the Shadow of Prism Tower".

Time to duel

It’s now time to take part in our first Infinite Royale match. From now on all tickets cost 50,000 points, and we’ll need one before we take part in our first reward match. Change the time to night and go to the Battle Zone to earn your spot. Speak to the man at the reception, and you’ll be given the name of your competitor for your reward match.

The first 20 reward matches have fixed opponents, although you only need to complete the first 15 matches. If you win your reward match, you’ll receive a random rare item and some Exp. Candy. However, you’ll have to earn another 50,000 points before you take part in your next reward match.

Fighting against Floette

Upon reaching the fifteenth reward Match, you will face Urbain/Taunie with their strongest line up of Pokémon yet. All of their Pokémon are above level 70, and they have a Meowstic, Goodra, Manectric, the two Pokémon you didn’t choose at the start of the game, and Mega Eternal Flower Floette. As you’ve taken part in fifteen Battle Zones by now, your Pokémon should be far above level 80 and this shouldn't be too much trouble.

Once you defeat them, Emma will call saying she has news of the person Urbain/Taunie is looking for. They then ask you to meet them inside Quasartico. Jett reveals that she gave Urbain/Taunie’s mom their jacket long ago, and is in fact their grandmother. Urbain/Taunie's mom is in a “faraway land” after being burned out from creating all of the holotech. Jett then asks Urbain/Taunie if they would like to take over Quasartico, as Jett wishes to retire and they are a natural-born leader. They agree and in doing so leave Team MZ. Urbain/Taunie will then give you Eternal Flower Floette and its Mega Stone. This ends Main Mission 39.

As the name suggests you can play the Infinite Royale infinitely, but the last major reward is at twenty wins where you unlock Side Mission 119: Le Super-Tournoi de Jacinthe O.

Starting from the 21st reward match, opponents are randomized, with previous ones you've faced receiving upgraded teams.
