The Floettite is initially seen in the possession of AZ's Floette during the main game climax of Pokémon Legends: Z-A. Urbain/Taunie uses it to Mega Evolve Floette in order to enter Ange's control room in an attempt to stop the device. During the post-game, the Floettite becomes Floette's held item during the rival's first battle against the player in the Infinite Z-A Royale. Both it and Floette are given to the player afterwards.
If held by an Eternal FlowerFloette, the Floettite allows it to Mega Evolve into Mega Floette if its Trainer has a Key Stone. A Trainer can only have one Mega-Evolved Pokémon at any given moment.
